This time a dark blue Turbo in Gloucester this morning. No photo this time as I was driving 8n the opposite direction.

B18 RAW is the only F40 I’ve seen on the road around 10 years ago. It’s been seen in Alderley Edge this weekend too.

I saw it at Le Mans a few years ago with two other F40s - it had shattered both front light lenses on the trip down, and the front end was covered in "sticky backed plastic"! Great to see it being used though.

I saw the same convoy south of Alencon in 2003 as we were heading to Le Mans. They weren’t hanging around and a great sight to see them being driven as they should and not garage queens.

Heh.... that was me, well not me in the F40 but one of the other cars part of the same group. We had a bit of a scare with the Gendarmerie at one point were convinced they were onto us and it was time to bend over but alas they were after someone else. At points I was running out of puff / balls at about mach 1.5-1.6 and the others were just going on like it was nothing. Those were the days!

The paint protection was really needed, the following year I was following another car and ended up needing a full front bumper re-spray as it looked like someone had blasted my car with a shotgun.

There is a PH’er around the Beds/Bucks area that has/had an F50 - could be him.

Genuine rarity and great to see it being used.
