See, I think the 296 looks incredible in the metal, and you can really see the 1960s influences and departure from recent, more angular, Ferrari styling....but it doesn't stop it looking st.

There are ways of doing it well - Lamborghini usually make it work, albeit often in a rather brash way (Gallado excepted), 720S is to me a very clever and stylish alternative, but it does make the car wider. 488 is especially egregious (see also Huayra and LFA for fails). The old 308 style is pretty cool, if we're looking for Ferrari inspiration.
