Coupés are generally considered to be more attractive and glamorous than their counterparts, but there have been some munters over the years. Here's three I can think of:

Volvo 262C (not Bertone's finest hour)

Jensen Interceptor Coupé (why remove the lovely glass tailgate?)

Maserati Karif (just no!)

Whoever within Suzuki signed that off was on some strong meds!

The current Mercedes C Class Coupe never looks quite right. It's very tricky to pin down, but it just looks...off.

The brand new A5 coupe isn't a looker either. Looks miles better in Sportback form.

I'm going to leap to the defence of the Chrysler Crossfire before someone includes it in here.

The Rolls-Royce Camargue was never a looker... Time has done nothing to diminish its ugliness.

I always thought the CLC-class and the c-class coupe that game before it was very strange looking

and at risk of possibly being burned at the stake...

something about the rear I find odd. just a large flat boot.

Not the most flattering angle (but that is the picture of it everyone uses!)

Try this...

PS. That 'big flat boot' was the reason I got away with owning one of these when my daughter was born - a full-size foldable pram/pushchair fits in there easily.

Oi! I've got a Merc C-Class Coupe! This one, in fact.

Yes, I know the tyres could do with a bit of blacking up. tongue out

I've grown fond of the shape, though still think the later CLC is a bit of a dog's dinner.

Agree about the Alfa, I never like them.

Also, I give you the Hyundai Accent Coupe:

furious (although im not a huge fan of the tail lights)

If we are talking odd looking coupes, i think the brera is far worse then the GT, it lacks the "boot-bump" i think a coupe should have, effectively making it a hatchback in my eyes... The spider looks sooo much better then the brera to me.

I've got nothing against them as such, but they always remind me of a dog having a st. The Crossfire is the bottom pic.

The Mercedes C-Class coupé pictured twice above ... I always thought of that more as a hatchback. It reminds me of the Renault Megane of the same era. I always thought the CLK was a more credible execution of the coupé genre.

I personally think the 911 is more reminiscent of that dog than the Crossfire. It even has the short pawwheel-base to match.

This (not funny) joke is as old as time itself.
