And to me they looked perfect.
Very simple and elegant.
My wife lived hers.
Loved? Unless you mean she lived in it? But as a coupe it doesn't look big enough (no reference to your wife btw) :-)

I love all those quirky 70s Datsuns, especially the 120Y coupe with Fray Bentos wheel trims. This one is a candidate but I still love it.

I'm amazed this hasn't been included until now.

It's like the designer was tasked with making something that looked like a Lotus Europa, but was only given a supermini to base it on.

That's a 120a isn't it? My parents had a blue one when I was young. M reg I think.

As said, this looks like every coupé ever.

I don't like Audi's at all. I don't like what they represent and I generally hate how their normal models drive. It feels like someone wanted to make them "sporty" and therefore equated that with "lack of comfort".
BUT I can't deny I think the A5 is generally a VERY good looking car in most guises. Some more than others, but imho never "akward looking". The A7 on the other hand has some weird stuff going on in the back I can't really put my finger on.

As for the Alfa GT, I can see there's an angle where the car doesn't look desperately pretty. But that's about it. Watch the 2nd hand values triple in 10 years time.

"Heh, Sr Zagato! The stupid glass guys made these side windows too big."

"No problemo Luigi! Just chop out some of the roof to make them fit."

"OK, whatever you say boss!"

Pretty much how I find them (but I have never driven an RS anything).

I think they look good too, and it is the next Audi I shall try, hoping it will be the one that changes my mind. It probably won't.

Looks like it has been rear-ended and badly repaired.

Not driven an RS, but driven an S4. Felt "fast" but never exciting or engaging like, for example even the 335xi.
Also, very nose heavy, felt FWD more than anything.

It won't. It's like an A4, only less practical and better looking.

It does doesn't it, the 3/4 panels in the rear seem like they mismatch. There's one with his ass sticking out behind the driveway I see everyday, and too often I think: ooh, he had an accident.

It's this mess of lines:

Also, I know its bending the rules as it isn't a coupe per se but I was following a Passat CC the other day and from some angles the misalignment of front and rear door handles just looks totally weird to my eyes.

Agreed! Never bothered me until now.
Never found that good looking though, much prefer the CLS it aped.
