Agree

Looked like something out of Thunderbirds at the time.

Alfa Brera, I never understood the love for the design of these, all I see is a big fat arse, the Spider looked great; Coupe' not so:

Personally I love its looks, but it's the marmite car par excellence

I can remember people critising these for their looks when they were launched, but I pretty much fell in love with them there and then.

And that dash!

Great looking car, the only Fly in the ointment for me are those tiny wheels.

I don't mind the A5 sportback mentioned earlier... The rear quarter window on the coupe though is just wrong and looks like an afterthought. The angle at the top is too severe. It also seems to have survived the facelift/new model, unfortunately.

+1 on the brera comments, I think it's a beautiful car...except for the back end.

A5 Sportback

Mondeo Hatchback

Rather unfair to compare the handsome-looking Mondeo to the car above it.

Hmm. I actually think if they had based it off the coupe's front end rather than the saloon, and made the C pillar slimmer like the coupe, it might actually have been the best looking E36 as well as the lightest. But BMW seem to have a massive problem with making good looking hatchbacks.

That modeo looks very bulky at the backend

The Mondeo looks like the a5, plus I think the a5, especially if sportback is one of the best looking cars made for a long time, it's aged well, more than you can say for the gopping 4 series or chavtastic E class

I own one of these and reverse it in everywhere so I don't need to look at the rear. Lovely from the front though.

Just... no. Not even with all the JCW credibility.
I wince every time I see one of these ill-proportioned horrors. Which fortunately isn't very often as I don't think they're exactly a sales success.

I never liked the Vauxhall Calibra. It always looked awkwardly perched on that Cavalier chassis.

You are mad, the Calibra is one of the best looking Coupe's of all time; it looked fantastic when launched and still looks fantastic and timeless now.

At the other end of the scale, I give you the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.

Others will disagree, I'm sure, but the looks of this don't appeal to me. The front end is very heavy-looking, and seems rather sad for itself.
