Currently got a nikon d3200 ,have had that thing for 2.5years and I hate it because of the dead slow autofocus + lens for it is fuked up as well as in It was faulty when I bought it new , got repaired under warranty twice, but that fuker has started to give trouble again and I'm out of warranty so kinda looking for something new /or used from fleabay as don't want to invest in new lens for that camera. I still love the image quality the d3200 has and the build quality of the body but everything else is...meh..

I got budget of around 300-400 and looking for something that has just as good or better image quality as the d3200, but preferable in smaller body maybe? mirrorless with some pancake lens would be cool.
I use the camera 99% of the time for product shots so the image quality must be there..., I guess I would it use it for other things as well if it wouldn't be so bulky as a full-sized DSLR I got now.

Any suggestions?
at one point I wanted to buy the sony a6000 which people rave about, but.. I went to currys to have a look at it before purchasing but that thing was god damn nasty..such terrible build quality and looked so cheaply made that I immediately crossed it out of my mind.

Given that most of the Nikon DX SLRs (which includes the D3200) have the autofocus motor in the lens not the camera body. If you are finding the D3200 slow to focus then I would probably pin that on the lens not the camera. I'd suggest taking it into a camera shop and seeing if they will let you try it with a new lens (or borrow one off a mate if any have Nikon SLRs).

While the D3200 is not going to be stellar, the focus should be more than fast enough for most people's use. Certainly more than fast enough for your product photography.
