That was the point I was trying to make, maybe we can stop focusing on tenths of seconds and look at a car as a package and enjoy its finer points, there is a reason why a Golf R is 30 grand and these are three times more expensive, even at the same price, different cars do things in different ways but have a similar power output and on paper performance.
Sure. But Mercedes buyers don't compare times to Golfs anyway. I doubt it would matter if the Golf was substantially faster, either, it still wouldn't get a look in. I think people are looking at the speed of the MB not as a comparison, but as a feat of engineering in its own right.

quite. One must also wonder what Brabus are going to add. More power, a delimit and some fancy trim. It won't be any faster
