No, but standing on a main road, next to your bike, head facing the wrong way whilst taking a selfie, does indeed make you a tt.
What makes you think he is facing the wrong way? I don't see why it would be safer to face the other way? And I'm not sure it really counts as a "selfie" if you're not taking a photo of yourself.Edited by Mave on Thursday 25th May 20:13

If there's one thing I hate about cyclists these days it is those badly-adjusted bloody LED headlights which point straight into my eyes and blind me. Then it would be my fault if I hit one of them. Last time, on a country lane in my classic, I was forced to brake hard and stop until the lot of them passed by - shouting abuse.
I hate that low sun we get at various times of the year. If I just carried on driving without being able to see where I was going and hit something it would be my fault! It's so unfair!fking solar system!
This thread has got too depressing for me. We are now into arguing about what clothing to wear while taking part in various activities. You don't need to be racing to feel the benifit of wearing lycra while cycling, commuting to work on a bike in lycra, then showering and changing into the work suit was the best, most comfortable option for me and many others.

So he stopped on a hill with his Lycra chums to take a photo, just in case somebody else might need a laugh some day on a motoring forum.
I think it's a bit off, you having a go at him about observation skills, because of it.

Don't worry, if you kill a cyclist because you couldn't see you'll be let off. If you bump someone's car you will be held liable though.swerni said:

For the hard of thinking, I'll do this slowly.
Our resident retard has accused the person in the picture of being a tt for taking a picture while facing the wrong way.
What retard fails to spot is obvious sign in the background denoting the fact the cyclist is in Central Europe, therefore is facing the traffic. This would put him facing the correct way.
We can only conclud that said retard ( for the avoidance of doubt, I'm referring to twoblacklines not the cyclist) has the observation skills of a sea cucumber
Outstanding and epic!
I cant wait to tell all the peeps on the train home hear about that one tonight.

Weren't you the guy who got caught behind a cyclist for 50 minutes (allegedly) ? That was a classic thread. You didn't help the anti-cycling movement much...
The reality is that the proportion of inconsiderate cyclists is as small as the proportion of angry/grumpy anti-cyclist posters on PH, but both groups are quite noisy.
Yep that was the first post I'd ever made on cycling after being on piston heads almost since the start. The idea I'm anticyclist is pretty ludicrous. I was cycling two days ago to the local pub for dinner. Round my way its actually the best way to go out for the evening to a pub and have a drink. The reality is that the proportion of inconsiderate cyclists is as small as the proportion of angry/grumpy anti-cyclist posters on PH, but both groups are quite noisy.
Everyone on that thread said I was either miss daisy, or lying. I then actually gave everyone the route I travelled and calculated the time it took. Not one person on the thread then showed where the cycles could have been overtaken or how the time could be bettered.
It was an eye opener for me how some people could see all that and just say yep, you're still lying. But I guess that's the price you pay for talking to a bunch of people with strong feelings on the internet who's anonymity gives them a degree of disinhibition.
However in real life no one has even called me a liar, I guess partly because of what I do and in what capacity I meet people so I guess its good to have a slap In the face every so often earned or not, brings me back down to earth.

You don't know if your own post is a question or a statement? You're insulting people's interpretation of what you've posted when you don't even know what you mean yourself! Are you an idiot? (That's a question by the way).
What do I think? I think you're going round making deliberately antagonistic statements that don't bear up to much, if any, scrutiny; and then trying to deflect, swerve, bluster and insult your way out when challenged.
I was taking the piss out of you! Hope that helps! What do I think? I think you're going round making deliberately antagonistic statements that don't bear up to much, if any, scrutiny; and then trying to deflect, swerve, bluster and insult your way out when challenged.
As for your last sentence I stopped reading when you said I think as you clearly don't or at least not without excessive bias bordering on fanatical!
