Anyone travelled in Euorpe with birds*?

• the feathered kind. Mallards specifically but any avian travelling experience / knowledge welcome.

I've googled around and I understand it is technically possible. I think I understand the requirements, but I was just wondering if anyone has any useful first hand experience. I've travelled and transported both dogs and cats to and from UK and round Europe, but never birds.

If you look you can get Stork in specialist supermarkets in Spain

Isn't it easier to get them to fly over and meet you there?

We always use carrier pigeons to transport ours.....very cheap too.

I have no idea, but I'd expect some travel restrictions are currently in place due to avian flu?

I think planning ahead is the right approach what you don't want to do is get all into a flap over nothing
