Like with any change of car be it going from a normal car to a faster car, FWD to RWD, just take it slow until you're used to it.

I remember going from a 1.2 Clio to a Clio 172 which felt like a huge jump in power but I took it steady rather than just hammer it about like a div and I never crashed it. Then went from a FWD Megane RS with 265bhp to a 510bhp RWD CLS and again, took it steady and so far so good.

I know drive a RWD E Class as my day to day car and if I'm honest, even though it's got plenty of torque so could break traction in the wet, the traction control (even from 2003!) keeps things in check anyway.

Just get yourself down to a local go kart track that has reasonably fast karts. Get used to provoking and correcting oversteer. Then try not to repeat it on the road, as sooner or later you'll bin it.
I did exactly this in the mid 80's at Buckmore Park in Kent. I was in a MK3 Cortina though. So much fun.

I'm old enough to remember when rear wheel drive was the norm' as opposed to the exception. You just got in and learnt to drive accordingly. The only difference today (some 30+ years later) is my car now has an LSD fitted. I'd take an LSD over traction control any day of the week.

Do 135i come with LSD or can they be retro fitted? I'm imagining it'll be some electric alternative nowadays though?

Don't think they come with a proper LSD Mark......although you can retro fit a torque apportioning diff

I think the LSD was an option? I know it definitely was in the M235i, but rarely specced as not cheap.

They do a BMW M-performance one for the M135i iirc but I didn't know they did it for the 135i - Quaife do a torque apportioning one though and I think you can get a Drexler one, both aftermarket

I went from a 70hp 1.2 Clio to a Ford Mustang GT with 421hp, take it easy and don't be stupid.
I did this too, although it was about 7 years ago, so instead of a Mustang I went to a Monaro.

In the following 7 years of ownership, I have died several times, so enjoy that!
