A 1973 MGB Roadster... 7 years older than me. smile

If I'm remembering correctly, it cost me £180 a year to insure when my peers were spending £1500 to insure things like 1.2 Corsas. hehe

Peugeot 206 1.1 Independence, 2 years old and 22k miles when I got it....

Rear ended 3 weeks into ownership on the M6, everything rear of the axle replaced
Rear ended at traffic lights 6 months later and the same again!

Was on it's 3rd gearbox and had a habit of cutting out randomly (inc. L3 of the M25!) by the time I sold at 4 years old and 48k miles

First car I ever drove was a 1300 pushrod electric blue Viva with wolfrace wheels.

My first car was a Suzuki Swift 1.3 GS in two tone cherry red and white. Like this one...

It had a wopping 78bhp and hit 60 in 10.3 seconds. As a student, I couldn't afford a Nova GTE or 205 GTI so this was a good 'warm' alternative.

2000 Pug 106. 1.1 Independence a.k.a. Starship Independence smile Just after passing my test at 17 yo.
Bought for £1500 / Insured for £1500. Loved it. Was stolen and wrapped round a post. Didn't even get a chance to do that myself lol.

Had a few cars before passing my test which I was lucky enough to be able to drive on private land. So actually first car at 13 was an Austin Metro smile

Renault 5!! Was a pure power house at 17 years old and manual choke.
Met its death when the heater matrix flooded the footwells and clutch cable broke!

My false start first car was a Jag X Type 2.0D - my dad bought it and hated and added me as a named driver. That lasted two weeks before, after we'd passed one another a few times, the old boy took it back off me (it wasn't objectively fast but compared to the little BSM Corsa I'd learned in it was a rocket ship).

First car proper was a Corsa C 1.2 SXi that I'm pretty sure was clocked - no AC but it did have 17 inch wheels and a fk off stereo so I was sorted for a couple of years!
