I can't really explain why I am so fond of the Tipo, but this is lovely.

Have you been sectioned ?

I'd rather walk than be seen anywhere near that

I thought it was marvelous and I haven't been sectioned either
I rather like it too, but partly in a 'so bad it's good' way.

Find a few more who think like you two and we can get you some group therapy. I think the funniest thing is it's the only camper I've ever seen with two single beds - because let's face it, you're not going to convince anyone to share a bed with you in that thing. Not voluntarily anyway.

Tipo, on the other hand, is bloody lovely. Look at those seats!

I think the Meastro is a conversion by Tandy, they built the same sort of thing on an Ital and the Marina before that. For some reason you didn't really see these conversions on an Escort or Astra.

I love the fact it’s resplendent in hearing aid beige, a colour favoured by a certain age of BL fans often seen on Allegros, Metro’s and Maestro’s, and it’s only a 1275 so you’ve only got 4 gears - ideal for that long trip to the continent!

It's "Rattan" beige.

I should be ashamed that I know that.

Ummm that is rather nice and quite understated too.

Must peddle along a bit with a 2l TwinC under the bonnet.

I owned a Tipo Sedicivalvole for many years (2.0 16v). It was bloody brilliant.

A few years back their was someone running one of those Tipos at Curborough sprint meetings on a regular basis. It used to run rings around so much stuff that would be considered proper.

I am also a Tipo fan. This is despite my mum owning a Tempra non-turbo diesel - a rubbish car which was scrapped after terminal electric issues that were never resolved.

My mate Neil had one of those (Tipo Sedicivalvole) replaced an R5 Turbo. At the time I thought he was mad, but it was a good car.

Cheeky asking price. At a grand I'd have it, at that he's on crack.
