I'm very tempted to call about this. I love the colour, 3.0 engine, and 6 speed manual.

Looks great and good value too. I do love a crummy factory sat nav.

Plus points.....1 owner from new , apparently , I do like a car that hasn't been sold every 5 minutes .

Low point......Service history complete up to 42000 , what about the bit up to 76000 miles ?

It's not a surprise the 170 is on the up , next best thing to the RS on the MK1 Focus and that ship sailed long time ago .
St170 is a great drive. A friend had a sheddy one a few years back and even a bit baggy at 100k miles, it was a hoot.

If I didn't live in the land of ULEZ and needed a station car for some country roads every day, one of these, debadged, would be it.
Damping is crap on them but they're a great B road car on the right tyres

That looks great. Nice colour and cool wheels (think they are from the later E89 Z4). Would be a good upgrade from your 2.5 Z4.

I'm far from a BMW fan, but that looks OK. And good value too.

A lot of car for the money, I agree. Just a shame that the Z4’s front-end styling makes it look like a sad donkey.

That's lovely IMO; what a great colour!

Great engine, manual, vert with heated seats...

Hell of a lot of car for not a lot of £££!

Sticks.

The wheels are 17" style 106, which were standard on the 3.0, though you'll rarely see one without the 18s.

Looking at the prices that looks good value - and doesn't look like a 100k mile car either. Nsr bumper/wing fit looks wrong.

I need to increase the agreed value on mine. Now that most of the horrendously expensive faults are repairable much more cheaply, prices for good ones are on the up.

A couple more BMW Z cars near me, both silver, 6 pots (2.2 and 3.0), manual, 80k ish miles, £3495 / £3795 respectively.

Look clean and tidy, reasonably written ads/ pics, not looked at MOT history.

They both look very well and reasonably priced.

Very nice. Just a heads-up, the links you posted give away your postcode if you click on the "return to search results" link. Don't know if you're bothered or not, some might be. I've noticed this before with Autotrader links.

Sticks.

Very good. The Z4's a 2.5 according to the description.

Ah yes, don’t know why I said 3.0, wishful thinking perhaps! (tho’ the 2.5 isn’t bad)

Never owned a convertible, but I definitely fancy changing that.

Like the colour. Decent price and you could put a new hood on it to smarten it up and still be within thread budget

Lovely and local to me too. MOT history doesn't look too bad, had some substantial welding recently by the looks of it. (K658 MMH on tax disc in ad)

I had a red one of these many years ago and whilst it was dissolving before my eyes I loved it!

Depending on how "powerfully built" you are, you might want to consider a Z4 instead of a Z3 if you're thinking of a cheap convertible. The Z3 is quite small, and larger drivers can end up looking like a gorilla in a child's pedal car.

This particular Z3 looks very nice, and sounds like it has been well-cared for, from the advert description.

Strong money for a non-M Z3, but should hold its value if looked after.
