The 3rd #DauwtrappeRS Cars & Coffee:
Wooof: Ferrari 360 Stradale.
Insanely cool Mercedes-Benz W112 280 SE brought by serial collector Alphons Ruyl.
Back lit Audi S5 Cab.
Early 3 litre G Modell Porsche 911 Targa.
Porsche 912 looks the part.

Immaculate 911T alert! Owner is a Tulip Rallye guy.
R Gruppe treasure: 200 ps 2.7 Targa.
Nuff to see at the 2nd DRS C&C: about 30 cars came to have a look and a bite.
Rare early 60s Willys Motors: this might be a CJ-3B.
The 1945 Jeep was the world's first mass-produced civilian four-wheel drive car.
With 2.2 litre Hurricane (7.5:1 compression ratio) it spins to 75 ps / 4000 and 152 Nm.
Inside the Willys.
Mostly Americana on a september meet:
Everything goes at this Cruizenight. About 100 interesting cars were present.
One of Mopar's finest 1971 (4 headlights) Plymouth Barracuda in flaming High Impact In-Violet. Chrysler 440 Super Commando in. John E. Herlitz Styled E-body shared its platform with the period Dodge Challenger.
This is one desirable MF...
Some kind of Dodge Coronet,,,
Lost Beetle...

Classic car season is over. I miss the cars & coffee events already
Targa jewel.
Insanely cool looking 8C hides our humble 147.
Porsche 997 GT3 RS and superb looking 1303 Bug.
Big Yanks were a first for our Porsche and smaller sports cars group. Boss 302 cab here.
Long time owner Mike has 370.000 kms on his lowrider 964.

Porsche 718T 300 ps 2 litre turbo:
IMO one of the best propositions Porsche has to offer.
Of course a Cayman looks better but it's hard to beat a cab.
Best 2019 rear? I like to think so.
Porsche never fails to deliver an excellent seating position and ergonomy.
The small engine has enough oomph to propel this baby to comfy speeds. The bigger engine will cost you your license in secs...

Few years ago I snapped these 2 Porsche 912 jewels:
Fantastic Porsche 912 which I believe has recently sold.
This proud owner ate some miles.
Porsche 912 coupe in Irish Grun and the Targa in striking Burgundy.
The Targa owner bought his because he did not like the 2 litre sixpot hassle.
Compared to say an Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 a 912 does perform pretty well! Nay-sayers will be amazed.

Insta hit rebound. More of that happy summer evening:
Nuff to see here: everything goes at a #DauwtrappeRS meeting like this 3rd Cars & Coffee of 2021. Casual parked Ferrari 360 Stradale and BMW e30 M3.
Happy couple Porsche 912 and 3 litre Targa.
Alphons Ruyl brought the Mercedes-Benz 280SE 4-seater cab.
Tom came in late with the Alfa Romeo 4C.
BMW 635 CSi M6 jewel.
October jobbie in the Amsterdam harbour area. Soft skies begged for a quick snap shot of the trusty 2 litre. Here on 17" Tristars.
Hard to beat daily and decent mpg too: currently 13 kms on a litre E5/98.
Outdoors grafitti 'museum' provided for a nice backdrop contrast with the Jarama Nero skin.
A few months before I drove this minter 560 SEC I had the opportunity to spent a day with a 6 litre Jaguar XJS. IMO one of the coolest looking 80s cars. But in driving not so much. This Merc however just nailed it in every possible way. What a car!
In looks this might be your Cocaine White Special and you would surely look away. But make no mistake: the 560 smoothness is addictive. The autobox is miles ahead of the Jag, the big V8 more refined and the seating position just spot on.
Yes, it's big and heavy but you will adapt. Yes, it is seriously swift but cars will get out of your way. There's just nothing that will dissapoint. Really...
A Bruno Sacco masterpiece this is. At the time this gem boasted a 20k euro pricetag. No brainer!
Nuff space for adults. Oh yes. If I had a garage I'd seriously consider a 560 SEC, an R107 500 SL and a 450 SLC. Das Haus selection done!
More Mercedes-Benz:
Great vintage posters.
Insane well restoration of this 280 Pagoda.
Hard to beat 2.8 litre straight six DOHC is a revver. Try before you die!
IMO the early 70s to mid 90s were the Benz golden era.
The Star meant serious business, strenght and endurance, comfort and power.

From the 2018 archives:
In my view there's no period Italian car to match a proper prepped Mk2 383 Jensen Interceptor.
The later versions with the 440 Six pack just don't do it for me.
Racy 6.3 litre Chrysler - ow my... - picks up like a modern engine almost and has a racy edge.
Only a Benz V8 SL and SLC top this British beef.
And yes, an Aston V8 is great too but not as refined.
With 1,600 kgs and 330 ps on tap mated to a Yank autobox it's hard to avoid not breaking the law.
Jensen has an interesting history that's hardly known to the car public. Maybe PH could pick up this one day and do a sequel. It's worth it.

Spring 2019: photoshoot for an RS Porsche Magazine article.
Superb looking Porsche 992 S in Crayon and surprisingly easy to drive quick.
I found this deserted industrial site that is now a residential area. Rear is a bit odd but looks better in the flesh.
Perfection. Intuitive office offers a great position for any driver.
Even on bad roads and rough parking lots like this one the 450 brake S performs adequate and so easy. I can't imagine anyone to fail in this Porsche.
Nice silhouette but still 1,5 tonnes... I prefer a 300 ps 718 T to this elephant. Every quick corner brings in electronic nannying and I don't like it.
