(Almost) consecutive numberplates
Discussion
Can anyone beat this?
We recently saw this identical Honda to ours with an almost identical number plate; just 6 letters apart. Can anyone do better and get a picture of a car with another number plate that's even closer to their own?
Has to be 'in the wild' i.e. not on a dealer forecourt, no personalised plates, etc.

Locally, an acquaintance had a Jetta with a plate that was two letters different from another Jetta in my town.
The odd bit is that the cars were English registered, and in NI. Both Jettas must presumably have been brought over at the same time and, given the similarity of the plates, must always have been local to one another.

We lived in Germany and they closed a army base over there a load of people moved back over at once but bought new cars as it was cheaper than back here. As loads of cars were put on UK registration at once or very close together, the estate we were all put on all had new cars with similar reg plates. Ours was K61 UPV and and next door neighbours was K59 UPV.
Father in law's grey Mondeo LN66 UKH. Saw another grey Mondeo driving probably 5 miles from his house LN66 UKN. Both seen in Somerset despite London registrations. His is a company car, assuming from a lease company based in London. I'd imagine the other one is from the same company leased at a similar time. Just thought it odd that they would end up so close to each other.
Many moons ago my parents had a cavalier and they said they were behind the car that was registered next. Both blue. Can't remember the registrations though, I wasn't even born!

The chances of this happening must be quite rare.
Both owners live about 8 miles from me,Trevor the top picture I've known for many years and Frank I've known 1yr +. They however live opposite each other and Frank kept seeing and hearing Trevor pull up on his drive. After much curtain twitching Frank couldn't hold back the urge and finally decided to ask some questions and a passenger ride.
Frank was hooked and decided he wanted one and started doing his research with the help of Trevor.
Trevor bought his car a few years ago from Scotland,Frank's more recent purchase I'm pretty sure said came from Hull.
They are even parked next to each other in these photo's... A true Chimaera bond going on here.
No picture unfortunately as I was only around 8 years old.
We had visited my aunties house one morning, went back to the car which was parked in a small terraced street. Parked next to my mums 'C' reg Ford Orion was an identical car, finished in an identical colour (very light blue) with one letter/number different on the plate.
I'm frustrated sitting here now because I can't remember the plates, I once did!

Many moons ago I was on a surveillance unit in east London and we were promised some new cars and one morning we came into work and found our new cars had been delivered and were all lined up in the yard
9 identical blue Peugeot 309 hatchbacks with consecutive number plates
Something like H381YYK onwards if I recall correctly
Needless to say they weren't used and were replaced the next day .. but it was rather amusing at the time
