Bus stopped to drop off a passenger.

That’s a first for me seeing that.

Double parking yes, but never mounting the kerb.

Was there something unusual about the passenger?

The face of a moron with a centre of the universe complex.

I’ll just be she’s complaining about you photographing her, whilst ignoring the paradox of blocking a pathway.
Yes, she was telling me how she felt so sorry for my wife being married to me.

What did she say when challenged about blocking the entire pavement?

Road is wide enough to park all 4 wheels on the road and still for cars to pass

Stolen from the local Facebook group where the OP is being mocked by many for taking photos of parked cars.

Just goes to show that we're surrounded by idiots when the photographer is mocked and not the parking. They need a few proper FPN's for traffic offences issued by the Police rather than a civil parking fine.

I can't share a link as it's a closed group but as a sample of people unable to grasp the concept of blame of how time works...

Were you just walking around taking pictures of cars?
Some people have too much time on their hands
Have you thought about getting a job as a traffic warden?

It doesn’t take a NASA T-shirt to surmise that most of those criticising the photographer are prone to a bit of tw@t parking.

My personal experience of local Facebook groups is that screeching posts about inconsequential stuff, questions that could be resolved with a 2-second Google search and "you alright Hun?" stuff is fine. Anything else, you will receive bile. Shaz and Tracy are the worst keyboard warriors.

I posted one similar on local FB and got so much aggro, things like do you hide in the bushes, do you only hassle old ladies, just can’t win.

The bus stop sign marks the front of the space marked out for the bus. Currently occupied by two cars.

Would any "let's grit" types fancy reclaiming some of the self-respect they've lost by using their lifted Discos to drag these sorts of parkers off the pavements?
I'd bet two tonnes of shagged out TD5, chunky tyres and an elasticated recovery strap round the front subframe could have one of these back on the road in seconds. If they get beaten up by an angry mob, one of the nurses they are transporting to work could patch them up in no time.

The only logical (not justifiable) reason for doing that is if they arrived when the bays were all full (e.g. late at night) so decided to park next to someone who knows them, and everyone else has since left.

But as they're always there, I'm wondering if they're trying to start a rule that people only park outside their houses? I've witnessed people trying to start a "thing" and it always singles them out as a bit odd. I assume they're the same people who invent their own driving rules and get radgy when others don't drive according to their imaginary Highway Code.

It's not bad parking, but the council have "lost" £1500 (what they currently charge for a dropped curb so that this resident can park on his front garden. I wonder how long before the council ask him.to remove it.

Further down the road.
