We often moan about reverse parking, but some have never mastered forward parking, I will give her 2 out of 10 for trying, she had THREE shunts before she decided this is OK laugh

There's a wide vehicle access but this chap doesn't want pedestrians taking the easy option..

I went to grab the satellite image to show you the yellow hatchings but a familiar shape was blocking them...

And another that can't reverse park or thinks they're in a limousine:

Bournemouth at the weekend gone...

The problem isn't going to go away anytime soon and is likely to get worse if all that happens is they are issued a fine, a fine which is approx £10-20 more than the cost of all day parking!

At least it is almost £39k for the BCP council pot

Parking costs can be seen on here...

Similar situation I pointed to a driver on one of these dropped kerbs (and DYL s), and mentioned a man on a mobility scooter couldn t cross the road the previous day.

Response was Well there aren t any signs .

They were parked there as it was the closest to the shop door.

Some should really hand in their keys.
People are genuinely so stupid / ignorant that they do need a sign to tell them everything. Whether that’s blocking crossings or parking right on junctions. “There’s no yellow line”

Another poster said their council ticket these people. Wish ours did. The council went bankrupt a couple of years ago I’m sure the new councils could make a steady income stream from residential parking alone.

£1000 fine should deter them.

She didn’t win at bingo this week, so this allows her to feel special and punish more randoms when she blocks the road whilst unloading here trolley. Probably one item at a time, because that extra 5p for a bag is outrageous..

The bloke with skinny legs who sits on a popular bench, surfs his phone for 45mins and later tells everyone how he worked hard for an hour?

Indeed it would, but reading this bit from the article In 2024, the council wrote to the transport secretary to ask to be a trial for an increase in fines and was rejected, being told they would have to wait for national change.

It would appear that the main government set the rate for fines and not the local council, is it any wonder people don't care when you can park where you like all day for an extra £10 rolleyes

Miles from the kerb, too near the junction, making it tight for buses using the bus stop and must have driven through the no entry signs to get there. Good job!
