Even if the car on the right was on the right side of its lines, that would still be a tight squeeze for the wheelchair.

I would be more concerned about him coming back and damaging a car.
Oh, I wouldn't be concerned.

Things like that hardly ever happen outside of peoples overcharged imaginations.

I'm not going to agree with this one. Given the nature of the job they do they need to park AS CLOSE to the drop off/pick up point as possible.

would you want to do that job?

Update, this is taken from where the van was parked. yikes

Think I struck a nerve with putting this on my local community FB, about incondiserate drivers blocking dropped kerbs, on more than one occasion I have seen someone on their mobility scooter waiting to cross, but you see this is the closest point to the door to our local shop and post office, so its designed for cretins to park there, why bother with the car park behind the shop.

One comment was "I will park where I like".

Seems someone got so irate, one of the mods blacked out the plate. The last time this happened, it was a red van, I enquired in the shop who was the driver as someone was waiting to cross on their mobility scooter, a middle aged gentleman (FB), and that doesnt mean Face Book, said "Its mine, I will be out in a minte", what a gentleman.

Why go to all the inconvenience of having to park 20 meters away from the door when there's a nice empty loading bay?
Having had multiple numpties park up against my doors / ding them in supermarket car parks, I’d probably do the same to be fair. Avoid them at all costs as majority of the public just don’t treat the property of others with any thought at all.
For some reason I’ve never had all these parking dings happen. I just choose my space wisely.

No need to park like a knob.

I wouldn’t know, I don’t park in loading bays, but I’ll take your experienced word for it.

The parker is either being stupid or selfish but I'm not sure which.

Made their own space, when others available to the right of shot.

TT in the back left makes their own space daily, but doesn't effect anyone so good utilisation of space I say.
