This appears to have been taken from inside a car parked on the footpath.

As I was told by my friend in Milan,

“It is important not where or how you park, but that you do.”

It'll be interesting to see how people park with no authority telling them how. Wonder if they'll use common sense, parking so they can still allow traffic to flow and pedestrians to get about unhindered?

Forgive my ignorance, but what's the penalty for not "keeping clear"?

Odd having a "keep clear" for what looks like a side gate?

Not too sure about the penalty but the fiesta is parked in front of double gates (other gate hidden by bushes)which gives rear access to a private house, the big green gates I think are access for deliveries to a nearby wine warehouse.

The car park itself is for a Co-op supermarket and up until a few years ago was 2 hour free parking but it was rarely patrolled which led to people taking the piss and staying all day! The Co-op got Horizon parking involved and things changed quickly, in their defence you still get an hour free but must display a ticket. Again, to be fair to them- when the changes were implemented there was someone from the parking firm explaining the changes to visitors and notices in the supermarket.
However for the first few months there was a warden round regular picking off offenders..
Not sure how often it is patrolled now, there is no ANPR in place but the Fiesta and Seat would have copped a ticked had the warden turned up!

That's not a parking bay - and there's a car in front of it which is in a bay which is now blocked in

Fire escape ?
Surely a fire escape should be clearly identified?

People would still park in front of it.

Seen that before, but a marked exit would deter those with more than one grey cell. I hope.

It’s probably an assumption. I would probably assume the same ............i.e. a fkwit roofers van in a child space
