This is a regular occurance in my close, 4 spaces on the drive and one car stops me getting in or out.

Most of the neighbours only have 1 space infront of the garage so the double stacking you can see from the pug is common, I've got a baby and a ton of equipment and sometimes can't get near my front door or even worse have to go door knocking to get out.

It's nice being in the corner but you are vulnerable to inconsiderate people.

I feel your pain. We were in a very similar location and had neighbours cars regularly blocking us in. After several heated conversations (But I'm only going to be 5 minutes ...) and a change of neighbours boyfriend, we aren't too bad now. Ironically, the b/f we thought was a bit of a "traveller" has turned out ok and tells their friends to park properly now.

One time at band camp I had a non access issue around midnight and just dumped my car at the squeeze point where I could go no further forward, in the morning rather than ask me to move the offending party (hi Julian) spent 10 minutes shuffling back and forth squeezing round with a parking spotter friend to squeeze out. That sorted it for a few weeks, must be due another tactical landing soon.

It’s not even a decent car worth ‘protecting’. Tesco, Gosforth, Newcastle.

That supermarket is a sea of Gosforth-based self-entitlement. I hate it.

Cool. I’ve never heard of anyone hating a car park before. Is your hatred aimed just at that car park or Gosforth as a whole? I’ve been living here for just a few months and I’ve picked up what you mean.

As part of a recent H&S and diversity initiative at work we have focussed on safety for our female colleagues.

One such initiative was to have a female only car park adjacent to the office. This not only ensures females can leave their cars in a non-judgemental atmosphere but means they have a short walk to their car on dark evenings.

The picture below shows how it’s going.

Bloody horrendous. The two wkers videoing it could have actually stopped a lot of the damage happening. But no, a funny video for Facebook is more important.
