The yellow lines in the parking space are clearly just there for decoration in this near-empty, incredibly vast, cinema car park.

That's annoyingly common in that space, have seen a few people parked there.

Must have been watching a Star Trek movie. It's the final frontier

I understand that the DPD driver needed his pizza for lunch, and parking is hard to come by in Royston especially in a big van but nevertheless.

At Gatwick's South Terminal there is an Express Car Park pick-up section just on one level, where you can drop off and pick-up passengers but ONLY on the condition that the driver STAYS IN THE VEHICLE and in the bay.

It looks much the same as any other level - same size bays but only one entrance for passengers, so they walk in, find you in your parked car, get in, and you drive off. A good idea and it worked for me.

However, some people think that it's okay to park their cars as close to the passenger entrance as possible, leave them there, go off for a fag, some food and a phone call thus causing an almighty tailback because no other sod can get out. Hard to explain and no pictures because it was dark when I was there.

Big blacked-out Mercs and Toyota Prius's were the main culprits, their driver's unashamedly not giving a rat's arse for anyone else, despite being hooted, tooted and shouted at by their fellow neanderthals.

The taxi drivers in my local town do the same. They park in the temporary parking bays, park on double yellow lines and even park in disabled bays. They can be sat there for ages and never seem to get a ticket.

Parked, or 'just nipped in to open the gate before driving in' ?

This woman had decided to stop next to a huge space to go to one of the houses, then gave me a dirty look because I'd decided to use the road, then she made a complete meal of getting her massive car into said space so I could get past.

The irony, driver parked with a blue badge, with sign saying in the window they need room for wheel chair access, parks blocking the only dropped kerb along that path for access, marked by a white line, also just to the right of him a sign saying "Turning area no parking", tard to his left is at the end of the parking bay and was there when I passed earlier, two feet away from the edge of the bay essentially taking the two end spaces.

Parked.
I was loading cars for 45 mins where I took the pic and it didn't move, in fact when I went to reverse out a Freelander had joined it.
Apparently its a daily occurrence.

This video was as pointlessly dull as the text suggested.
