This woman had decided to stop next to a huge space to go to one of the houses, then gave me a dirty look because I'd decided to use the road, then she made a complete meal of getting her massive car into said space so I could get past.
Looks like you could almost have driven into the space, past her, and out the other end eek

At long last they've fixed the parking at Chievely Services. It's now bigger with a revised layout and fresh markings. Marvellous.

I always wonder with people who park like that whether they drive into the space, open their door and because they can't see the line they think they've done a proper job at parking. Obviously too thick to realise they've done the complete opposite.
No, just knobs Wazza.
I know its bad parking but with barely another car anywhere near them it's really no issue.

I understand it all comes down to cost but in certain areas I.e that yellow hatched area outside the cinema with a X5 parked in it, why don't the owners of the space / grounds put a collapsible bollard in? They cost about £50 and can be installed by the company doing the groundwork in the 1st place.

Would save a lot hassle and make Mr Important find a normal persons space.

I'd guess because the owners of the car park don't really care.

I recall a woman parked in a wide space marked MC, when her husband asked why she had parked there, she said she thought it for Mother and Child..................... doh.....

Maybe. But I'm willing to put money on the fact that the driver would park like that if they were the last two spaces.grumpy

Because when the car park is empty you have a post sticking up in the middle which is not safe.

It’s been parked on the double yellows for the last two days but he clearly thinks that now the disabled spot has become available that’s more acceptable. Number plate also reads “Drive it like you stole it” What a complete and utter c*nt!!

Its not his fault thought. Those dark window tints mean that he wont know where he is going.

If parked on double yellows, and now a disabled spot. Surely has a legit/or access to, a blue badge?

Did they actually park there and go into tesco to shop though? Whilst I think it's a stupid place to position your car, i can slightly forgive them if they placed their car there to load in items. especially as it appears to be raining.

If it's a few bags of sprouts and bread and the like, absolute knob end.

If it's a fridge freezer, fair doo's. Ish.

Rubbish, it's on a zebra. There is space either side to park like slightly less of a tt.
