I don't really mind the take-two-bays brigade as much the slightly-over-the-line lot. Mainly because if you're going to park other than comfortably in one bay, it's best to do it in an unmistakable manner so people don't feel the need to try and squeeze into an impinged-upon space.
And if everyone were as selfish, parking capacity would be reduced by 50%. Great idea.

Yes, I often see cars parked an inch over a bay marking and think of taking photo to post here, but then think others might not regard such parking as sufficiently "bad".

Well, we all know how long an inch is.

Have we had this one yet ? Looks like school run mum parked on the path and white van man couldn't get past.

If everyone parked so the line is under the middle of their car, you'd only lose one space.

Of course he was wrong to do what he did, no doubt whatsoever, but if ever someone was begging to have the side of their car ripped open, she was.
I reiterate, he went too far, but if the woman hadn’t been standing there, being pushed down the road, I would have quietly applauded a refuse truck taking one side of her car completely off laugh

I mean it’s not really their fault... but these two in the car park yesterday made me laugh.

Perhaps if they stopped trying so hard, and removed a wing mirror, or even a wing, they might get the message.

On second thoughts, someone that dull strikes me as a compo type & would immediately sue someone / anyone for putting them in a position where their own stupidity physically allowed them to park their car where it could get damaged.

Nope it started in 1997 under blair and Labour.

Glad to help, have a good evening.

Do we?

Please elaborate, because it seems a bit of a leap to me.

Shame you didn't, though.

Very much started by Thatcher and continued by Major.
And I'm no friend of either of the main parties.

PS - because I'm so helpful -

'But Mrs Thatcher went gaily ahead with this Bloodsuckers’ Charter, more politely known as the 1990 Courts And Legal Services Act (Section 58).
This cleared the way for the change, but was fitted with a time-delay device – perhaps because the Government was ashamed of it and didn’t want to be linked with it when it eventually took effect.
It was finally activated in 1995 by the passage of the Conditional Fee Agreements Regulations. In a last-ditch attempt to stop it, which failed by only six votes, the late Lord Ackner warned ‘there will be occasions when this country will exceed the worst excesses of the United States’.

I'll accept a full written apology by PM smile

A leap?
More like a bungee jump, sans bungee rope to me, and I
wasn’t Mrs Thatcher’s # one fan, although I didn’t hate her.
