Yesterday at the Locks Heath centre, yes it has a blue badge in the windscreen, and I know I'm going to take some st over this, but, just how does someone who's disabled get in and out of a low slung sports car like that?
Anyway it's badly parked!!
I’ve felt and thought the same way before. It’s hard not to be cynical when someone springs out of a sports car or looks perfectly abled getting out of a big shiny SUV and strutting off into the shops. A friend in the Police has come across quite a few people using their parents badges and whatnot in his time.Anyway it's badly parked!!
However... there are plenty of invisible disabilities like autism, dementia and anxiety that qualify these days. So best give them benefit of the doubt and keep the inner cynic at bay!
If you genuinely think they might be misusing it. Write to your council and they’ll check it’s validity. They’re usually apparently keen to clamp down and take them off people who shouldn’t have them.

Because not all disabilities involve the limbs. I have a Z4, and a blue badge. I am also in the advanced stages of pulmonary fibrosis, meaning I am on oxygen 24/7 and even with that, cannot walk any distance without extreme difficulty and my oxygen saturation level dropping dangerously. Anyway it's badly parked!!
I can still park between the lines of a disabled bay, however.

Crowded underground car park, but someone in their Chrysler is far too important to leave a space for others.

I have a feeling that I’m going to regret this, but humour me, I know little of cars, even though this is a car enthusiasts forum, but in my ignorance, if the white car is a Chrysler, why does it appear to have Maserati across the back?RV17 NBY
Please don’t tell me that Chrysler have brought out a model called a Maserati, or that Chrysler and Maserati merged?
I remember when BMW merged with the Mini, some 20 years ago, the father of a friend of mine who lived in Florida told me when he saw me, “Artie’s bought a new BMW.”
Imagine my surprise when I met I met Art in a restaurant near Tampa, and he arrived in a shiny new Mini.

I have a BB and a Z4 too. I don't use it much, but I'm OK when I'm in it, but still walk like st. It's harder getting in and out but the reward is greater as I know before I'm that old I won't be able to do. But while I can, I will. I can't get in a high vehicle like a Land Rover without great difficulty.
It is still st parking though.

If you genuinely think they might be misusing it. Write to your council and they’ll check it’s validity. They’re usually apparently keen to clamp down and take them off people who shouldn’t have them.
Anxiety - a disabilty. Requiring a special parking space. Somebody above help us! However... there are plenty of invisible disabilities like autism, dementia and anxiety that qualify these days. So best give them benefit of the doubt and keep the inner cynic at bay!

Parking & blocking the only road through the Florida Keys, to take pics of rented cars, causing a tailback
