We have had this for the last 48 hrs , whilst not completely blocking our drive, it is still an irritation . Local enquiries , reveal no one knows about the car
Local council , ok we will deal with it tumbleweed

Police "not us gov"

Please forget silly suggestions, sausages etc , just thinking about getting tow rope out , but sure not quite legal

I’m afraid I’m not sure there’s a lot you can do as access isn’t actually blocked, proper selfish though. I’d be annoyed by that.
Unless he wants to get his mobile home off the drive which would surely be next to impossible?

I feel like I would like to get my mobile home off the driveway today, if I were the OP of this photo.

This was on Surrey Police's Twitter:

Police were interested as it was parked in a disabled bay with no badge, subsequently finding out the driver had no insurance. Why do people who are clearly doing something illegal, draw attention to themselves by parking like a tt, I'd want to keep as low a profile as possible, I guess it's arrogance, as well as stupidity.
Probably because police don't usually take any notice of BB/BB space abuse (AFAIK).

Precisely what I would be doing in this situation.

The car is only blocking the drive by a foot or 2.

Perhaps, depending on where the dropped kerb actually is.

I feel that 2ft would be essential in order to get the mobile home off, though...

It looks like the drop kerb starts where the grass finishes?

Yes the car is a good metre in from the start of the drop kerb , hence my irritation as there are 2 additional cars to park on the drive .

In that case, I'd definitely need to move my motorhome.

To do so without moving it over the grass would need the full dropped kerb, and that would mean the Corsa being uplifted.

But they didn't did they?
But they could have done, and that is why he was concerned.
Another thread refers, the context of which you haven't quoted wink
I bet the people who did it never won anything outside of a fat arsed bingo contest.

Why does the distance matter?, its still past the point it should be.

It is, by about 2 foot by looks of it.

The point is, it's inconsiderate. I've seen parking spaces before then realised the house doesn't have a drop kerb so didn't consider parking there.

I assume the point you are making is that the mobile home isn't in front of a drop kerb, but that doesn't make the parker less of an inconsiderate person.

Rookie error. One-crime-at-a-time

But criminals aren't exactly noted for their high IQ scores.

The parking is the least of that outfit's problems.

Some people on this forum have a documented history of being deliberately contrary, for their own amusement.

Clearly, anyone with an ounce of social responsibility, can see that isn’t acceptable for more than two minutes.

This has now come to an end
Yesterday afternoon ,after 2 days of inconvenience, I happened to be looking out of the window whilst on the phone , yet again , to council parking office , when , In a well-orchestrated and rapid manoeuvre , a car pulled up behind the offending vehicle a passenger got out and rapidly got in the parked black Peugeot car, I went to go out and have a blast at the driver, but the engine was started and instantly the car was slammed into gear and wheel spun away , closely followed by the other car .

So fast was the get away they both undercut my neighbour , who at that moment from the correct side of the road was indicating to turn into his drive to the right , they both almost “T “ boned him , he said he was going to follow but so fast was their getaway they were out of sight before he could gather his senses .

There is definitely more to this than just a parked car ,the car ( Monday at least ) was untaxed although tested ,not having access to MID I don’t know about insurance , perhaps the sleuths out there may be able to find out
VRM RJ13WGA , Black Peugeot 106/206

Just to clear up a couple of other comments.
I knew the sight of a caravan would bring out the haters , suck it up guys , there are over half a million caravan users who disagree with you and like to sleep in clean bug and body fluids free bed .Such comments are ignored .

I don’t have a dropped kerb to get the caravan on and off the road , I use a couple of wooden ramps for that . As such I can’t complain about cars blocking the caravan in , my solution is to park one of mine to keep the area clear for my use whenever I intend to use the caravan .
