Yea I know, it's a touchy subject with me, thanks to the current govts policy of demonising anyone who claims any sort of benefit these days.

Its a bit sad logging in to look at bad parking (and I obviously include myself) but its a whole different level of sad to check number plates for tax.
The whole thread is sad frankly, I just can't believe how often it appears at the top of the thread list... people who bother to take these pictures and then upload them and then post really need to get something interesting to do with their lives. Same as the bad private plate thread frankly!
Can't hold a candle to the ' My favourite breakfast cereal' thread.
Do you have a link? I have a picture of some awesome muesli I'd like to share.

Again, it's not doing any harm.
i I started this a couple of years ago:

I think it's sad when a bunch of grown men get excited watching a bunch of overpaid people kick a ball around, when they get it between the posts, which is what they are paid for, results of lots of shouting and hugging.

Bad parking pics is much more exciting. As I said previously, each to their own. Keep the pictures coming guys.

I know, I’ll park on the pavement, don’t want to use one of the empty spaces, someone else might need one.

Tesco Park Farm, Ashford? Rare I recognise somewhere in this thread! Mind you, at least that monstrosity is out of the way a bit, rather than dumped outside the front of the store in the hatched areas like a lot of people seem to do at this store.

That’s the one. Agree about the front of the store. They had a few burly security guards there a few weeks back discouraging and moving people on... good move, but shouldn’t be required really.

I come on this thread as a bit of a laugh, but i realise that I am rather sad for coming onto it. If you dont realise how geeky and sad this thread is then you probably need to get out a bit more.......and I dont mean go walking around carparks.
For me the best part of this thread isn't the pictures of bad parking itself, it is actually the comedy element when people who are just as bad at parking get all upset when they realise that the rest of the car park view them all as tts.

It's the exact same thing with the number plate and red light related threads.

Taken about 2 weeks ago
Aylesbury, Harvey Road spar shop

Yes it is parked- the driver is in the spar shop…
Yes that is a space more than adequate next to the motorhome…

When I saw two middle aged women parked in a disabled bay with a badge, and trotted down the road at a brisk pace which I had difficulty keeping with, you have to wonder. I dropped a line to the authority who issued the badge and got a very nice thank you.

Some are genuine and some just abuse the sysyem.

You have to wonder at the mentality of clueless tts like this. Chances are the excuse would be "I'm only parking for a few minutes....".

Our new neighbours, (Mr & Mrs Tard), blue car on drive, red car over pavement, this is a quiet road, absolutely no problem parking on the road. Gets busy with mums going to and from school, and we have a couple of neighbours on mobility scooters.

Why oh why on earth why.........

It does beg the question though. But I like your train of thought, if your careful you won't even scratch your bike biggrin

Can anyone explain what the hell goes through people's minds to see this kind of parking as acceptable? I'm 47 and I distinctly remember cars were parked appropriately when I was growing up, when did we as a nation become so entitled as to think that it's acceptable to do this kind of thing??? It's not just parking it is many, many things, queue jumping, both in a car and on foot, not saying thankyou, FOR ANYTHING, I really do wonder what it's all coming to!?!?!?
