That’s marked out really badly. I think many people would assume that’s a space.

Could hear this one idly trying to wheelspin their way out of being beached for a few minutes but failing due to the open diff

They ended up breaking off a piece of wall and using it to gain purchase and escape (leaving it across the path).

Woke up to see this when I opened my curtains..

If they pulled forward approx 10ft there would be no problems as they would be parked infront of a small car sales place.

I thought it was the van blocking an alleyway

Not the worst ever offender but recently sat in my car waiting for the gaffer to return from shopping and saw this Datsun Motability Special rock up. Probably better it was dumped like this as all doors seemed to be flung full open simultaneously. The occupants promptly decamped, the adults got their smokes lit and they all headed off to the shops, with plenty of hollering and swearing at the younger members of the group to keep up....

Yes, the Mini preventing me from exiting my drive and turning left,if they had parked approx 10ft forward (infront of a car sales) it wouldn't be a problem, thankfully it had gone by time I needed to do my pre-booked tip run which requires me to turn left.

That's standard parking in many areas unfortunately, as the dropped curb only applies to the bit that is sloped. If that's the neighbours fence shown, isn't the Mini parked outside the neighbours house?

The fence is mine,it would also prevent me from reversing onto my drive when approaching from the right, and before anyone comments and says "drive onto your drive", my daily is a van so reversing off the drive onto the road makes it a suicide job.

I too saw something similar. Many years ago in Cambridge I was turning right at a set of traffic lights and there was a Reliant Robin in front of me. Lights went green and Robin set off but turned too soon and the car got beached on the kerb of the traffic island, rocking gently back and forth with his front wheel spinning aimlessly in the air.
Reliant Robins were rear wheel drive. Probably just inertiasmile

If you must buy a bus, learn to park the bloody thing.

I'll put money on the fact that there were no small children who cant walk unaided in the back of that car.

Pardon my ignorance in these matters, but is that type of car exempt from having to display a front number plate?
Not exempt, but on the vanishingly small chance the owner gets pulled up for it, I believe it's generally a £100 fine, but max is £1000.

Not the end of the world for someone with the readies to buy a CGT.
The law is changing to add 3points to the fine for an illegal and/or missing plate, and lots of people like the owner of that car are outraged that they weren't personally consulted before the MP's voted.

Was in mother and child space, so probably a kid in tow, not that I fully understand your comment.

FWIW, the only time I EVER drove onto our drive was with one of the succession of Black Cabs that I owned, every one of them was worth at least double of whatever my wife drove, so they got the safe berth in the integral garage, which had the underneath of a staircase at the far end, meaning that the taxi had to be driven in, to get the bonnet into the space under the stairs, as only then could I close the garage door.
Our house is in a private cul de sac, so there was no passing traffic to worry about when I reversed off, and the drive is long enough that my wife’s car could be put at the extreme front, in order for me to be able to reverse the taxi around it, by going onto the neighbour’s drive, (she only had a small car, and always reversed up to her garage door).

I often find that when people are badly parked, it would usually not be a problem if they were parked somewhere else hehe

What do you drive? A bus? Can't believe the average car won't get out of there. My neighbour often parks his van outside my house, want to google map it's AB12 4TS, manage to get the Volvo S80 out OK.

Interested in what you drive.
