^if that was today, galleons reach is never ever busy enough that you can't find parking. what's so hard about walking an extra 20-30seconds
The effort required would compromise the already limited blood supply to their brain and they'd fall flat on their face before even getting in the door.

Thought I had one, but getting closer I see the truck is parked in a no longer used entrance to a site, so technically not on the pavement so presumably squeaky clean, unlike the woman in front.

Odd that someone got so upset about the Audi, when someone else has parked a motorhome on the grass a few feet away!
That story is very daily Mail

AUDI, DETACHED etc

You would never see a headline, so and so upset by Kia parked on verge

Srange that I haven't seen Smart car for months yet suddenly there's four together.
It's mating season.

I've been out and about in my LDV Convoy LWB Hi-Top 3.85t ex 17 seat minibus converted to a campervan this week, been parking it properly in ordinary parking spaces time & time again with no bother, yet all around are fkwits who can't park a regular car in the middle of the fking space. As for those who say cars are now bigger but parking spaces haven't grown, yes that's true, but it's still fking easy to park a massive SUV in a regular space, you're just a useless fking waste of space who can't drive or park, that's all.

I parked a few of those vans on the hard shoulder.

You can't quite see on this pic unless you zoom in, but this new tyre is squashed and pushed out of shape against the kerb. Made me cringe just looking at it.

My village is full of these idiots. They have literal 30m drive ways that extend out on to the road but choose to park on the public grass either side. It now resembles a dirt rally track. Then when the wetter months come they go back to their drive ways because it's too muddy and they can't get out. Infuriates me. Council do fk all.

There's similar on a few roads here with this one being one of the worst:

The council planted saplings on the verges and reseeded them and the people just snapped them off / pulled them out and continued to park there instead of on their long (albeit steep) drives.

The Streetview car has captured the blue CLS Estate I used to covet a little further up, he was a nice chap, always parked on his drive.

It's not an 'RR' - It's a Discovery.

Not just that, it's sitting on the road, creating a flat spot and pressure from the vehicle standing on it!

We have such a road near me with a nice wide verge between the road and the properties, that residents treat as extensions of their own land for parking on. Turns out that the utilities are buried underneath, so when there was a major activity to replace the water mains they all had reminders not to park there. After the works were completed it didn't really return.

That was a few years ago now and the verge parking is still pretty uncommon. I wonder if the residents realised that it's better to park on their drive than to have a muddy quagmire at the end of their drive? Perhaps the works forced them to practice their manoeuvring and now driveway parking isn't so scary?

Of course, once the subset of commuters who are too lazy to walk to the station but too tight to pay for parking discover there is empty land near the train station, it will return to mud.

Never understand this logic. By parking like that there isn’t enough room to get two cars through. If he parked normally there would be plenty of room for one car to pass. All he’s done is totally blocked the pavement for no benefit elsewhere.
I think the logic is that he's less likely to get a clipped wing mirror if someone tries for a two-car pass... Which again, won't happen if he parks properly as you won't get two cars through.

I see it as especially tttish because it is taking a possible but rare problem for you (a damaged wing mirror every few years with no recourse to the idiot who did it) and making it a definite problem for everyone else who uses that pavement. It's up there with putting cones out to reserve the parking space you like on a public road or parking across multiple spaces in a busy car park.

I think part of the problem apart from self centered idiots, some can’t reverse. If they drove up that drive they would have to reverse out, personally I would just reverse up in, safer when you come down again.

To be fair that back end looks like it's had a stroke so symmetry isn't going to be it's strong point. Talking of symmetry:

saw Troy Hawke live at the w/end, would recommend his stand up to help take mind off the parking.

Ranting day, these egits really piss me off, three cars behind them just about same gap, if they had been sensible you would have for another two cars in the parkin bays.

Other side just the same. Ended parking in the car park. How on earth do they think that’s acceptable. It’s a common scene in the town.
