Will take a wild guess that a satnav was involved in this!

I would have quite happily walked over the Mercedes… a sat nav may well have been involved but that doesn’t absolve the driver in any way

So close, but so far, busy road junction as well as being a bus route. Any cars on the other side waiting for a green light make it just impossible for a bus who has turned left into the road, to pass, so it all helps if you park nearer to the kerb.

Seen this car three times in the last few weeks, so probably a local.

Just doesn't want to curb his alloys biggrin
When I get my next "new" (3-year old) car later this year I'm sure it'll appear on this thread. I still remember when I first scraped the nearside front on my (marvellous) Vectra a month or two after I got it 10 years ago.

If it drove in, it can reverse back out!
But, having lived in the West Country all of my life, I can affirm that a worryingly high proportion of tourists don't know how to reverse their cars at all.
I have, on several occasions, had to reverse a hapless driver's car back to the closest passing point so that we can both continue our journeys.

A village of 800 near me is having 2,500 new homes built - (of course there are no new school places, no new doctors, there is no bus service, no shops etc) but importantly the little rail station is already rammed by 7am. As always the local infrastructure is never considered.

Whilst the story above is partly caused by half the car park being closed during works, it does chime with my point above.

Makes you wonder at times.

Clearly far too important to park in a space:

God forbid they get wet on the way to the door.

Having said that, I like shopping in the rain because the far reaches of the car park are usually empty so my car remains ding free. Downside is getting soaked both ways.

I cam across a Range Rover one day blocking road - he was staring at a puddle of water no more than 5 inches deep. I asked him to move and drove past

Always think this type of thing will backfire on the local residents if it is them that have done the damage. Most if not all the owners of the damaged cars will put in an insurance claim which will no doubt flag that area up as a claim hotspot and increase the premiums of the locals.

Looks like the current station car park has around 110 spaces already.

Busy main road (Skipton Road in Harrogate)
A mum with a toddler in a pushchair chose to stop, carry the toddler and folded pushchair past the car rather than risk the road. Just pure selfish entitlement that's enough to make me want to key the car (I didn't and wouldn't BTW but the urge was there)

I've seen stolen cars abandoned more tidily than this after being chased by the police

That sort of behaviour is going to result in some ugly scenes in the not too distant future.
