That sort of behaviour is going to result in some ugly scenes in the not too distant future.
Doubtful.
Based on the fact that nobody gets overly ugly today when someone parks in a disabled, P&C or loading Bay Area.

As new car parks are designed with charging spaces in mind, we will see more of them situated away from the buildings and the attraction to park there will drop.
A lot of the early ones are situated where they are to minimise the length of the power cable.

Not the same. Imagine, if you will, a busy petrol station with 6 pumps.

Now park three EVs blocking three of those pumps.

On a bank holiday weekend, with a queue of cars waiting to refuel.

How long do you think it would take before there’s a seriously free and frank exchange of views?

That’s what will happen as more people buy EVs and find aholes like that blocking high power chargers deliberately. And make no mistake, those people have parked there deliberately to annoy.

"But I always park there, he shouldn't have parked opposite" will have been the logic I bet.

Jeez. Is it a new thing all the cars being all over the place? I used to walk quite frequently through the snickets on that street and don’t recall cars being bunched up to that extent.

That’s two cars in a short timeframe, who have the ability to park the far side of an end space.

Some people are just dense..

Only nipped in the shop, loads of spaces further along, but!, this one is just about opposite the shop, so it’s OK.

I reckon you are dead right.

Inconveniencing everyone else won’t even be a consideration.

Surprisingly difficult to get past with cars parked opposite and a bend in the road. But the obvious solution to someone who has more cars than they can park on their drive or outside their house. As this happens quite regularly, it does unfortunately lead to problems when someone who has been previously parked by the pavement on the inside drives away, as it leaves the VW stuck in the middle of the road, which then looks even more ridiculous.Especially when it's still there in the middle of the road a couple of days later.

cjs racing.

In some cases, I’m really starting to think the Japanese have the right idea. If you don’t have room to park your car off road, you can’t have a car in certain areas.

Why would you even have the slightest thought, parking like that was acceptable, I'm forever astounded at how people just don't give a toss about anyone else or how other perceive them!
