In the South of England 'Twerk' is a word to describe wiggling your bum as part of a dance move.

In Yorkshire it is apparently where people go to earn a living. biggrin

Didn't Rolls Royce have to change the name of their Silver Mist cars in Germany (Mist = Translation of Manure).

Or better still, the Skoda Rapid Spaceback, which has less space in the boot than a standard Skoda (not very) Rapid.

Ford named their stylish coupe CAPRI, after an Italian island and the saloon CORTINA, a fashionable Italian resort.

Not to be outdone, Reliant wanted something that reflected an island in Venice so came up with the Reliant Rialto... when maybe Boaty McBoatface might have been a better idea
