VW XL1. Rare and mad. I want to see one quite badly.
There's one in the VW showroom in Aylesbury, not sure if you can test drive it though.

I have always wanted to see a Volvo 780. Never spotted one in the States or Europe.

Brilliant!

I'd love to see a GM EV1. Pretty unlikely to just bump into one now though!

Also a Chrysler Turbine
Is Jay Leno's not the only working one in the world?

for me the rule has to be whether you've seen on the road, not just at a car show or dealership. The one that's eluded me on the road (but seen in showroom and various events) is the F1. not yet seen a P1 or 918 yet either.

and how about cars you've seen fleetingly and just once? Two for me spring to mind

- 288GTO : late '80s near Twickenham
- Veyton : around 7 years back in London, passing Selfridges side entrance during 'the season'
- Zonda : Similar circumstances

I've seen a Veyron on the road once, "abandoned" out the back of Harrods. Also was in London with a mate before I had an interest in cars, and he get hugely excited when we saw a 288 got parked up in Bayswater. Meant nothing to me at the time smile

McLaren F1 for me. Seen most other modern exotics (McLaren P1 also never seen, but I'm not fussed about that.)
