I asked the poster I quoted, but thanks anyway.
Only because you were more interested in whether he knew the answer than the actual answer itself.
I'll be sure to gain your approval before any future posts.

The main way is by moving the air down the sides more gently than a conventional car. The car is not really that groundbreaking.

The Vigillante and Trivette, although three wheeled, were of a similar design.
Would be interesting to see how much the Cd is improved by narrowing the front track.
It's not the narrowing of the front track so much as the narrowing of the bodywork and keeping the wheels to the edges of the bodywork that makes the difference.

Narrowing of the front track while keeping the bodywork wide won't help.

You are missing the point. An EV car has about 1/5 the useful energy available even after accounting for the woeful inefficiencies of the ICE.
Take an Exige and shrink its fuel tank to say 12 litres. Its now significantly compromised. A fuel tank that small is effectively what an EV sports car has. Probably enough for one lap of the Nurburgring but not two.
I'm quite clearly missing the point as I have no idea what on earth you are on about!

Whats the best EV sports car to compare the Exige to, probably the Tesla roadster as its the same thing underneath(ish).

That has an 80kWh battery pack, you are suggesting that has the same practicality as an Exige with a 12L fuel tank?

So, EV's are the answer to driving enjoyment? I think i'll keep a nice loud, na engine, with a manual gearbox, thanks Nissan. Not interested in driving a Playstation game.
