Mr2 turbo. Don't make small cars like that anymore. Easy to drive, great gearbox, nicely servoed brakes, very powerful under heavy braking. Extremely tight turning circle, great visibility all round, not a car to take the piss out of in the wet. Loads of touches make it feel like a mini Ferrari, pop up headlights, low slung seating position, seem to get a positive reaction from the public in general. Minuscule fuel tank that drains at an alarming rate, these like a drink.
Nicely summed up, very capable cars to respect and enjoy and they really don't come like that anymore, a proper drivers car that you engage with. I got 450 to a tank recently though driving through Italy and close to that on other runs through Europe! I was very surprised as best i've had from it here in the UK is about 350 to a tank. A tank is 55 litres btw! Now if i'm having a play on some b roads i can see the gauge go down biggrin

It'll be the long consistent speed bits Dan, if you can maintain 60mph-70mph for a long period they can hit 35-40MPG. In the UK you rarely get a long uninterrupted run to achieve that!
