Honestly in terms of the cars/bikes and the liveries the 90's were the golden age for everything IMO.
In terms of motorsport I 100% agree with that !

(Taking rally group 'B' out of the equation however, but this did lead to Group 'A' smile )

Where can you now watch Super GT/JGTC ?

I was a regular viewer until Motors TV decided they could no longer afford it (at the time it was far better than any other motor racing I saw on TV including DTM, BTCC, and ETCC). Every so often i check the official website but never see an English language afiliate any more.
Search for NISMO TV on YouTube; they live stream every race with the videos available after. They dont just focus on the Nissans either, it's the official track video with english language commentators.

Fuji Speedway is on tomorrow!
Asweome thanks for the heads up smile

And another beer

Used to love the raybrig Honda NSX

Tamiya did 1:24 kits and 1:10 radio control cars of loads of them too, pre internet so was impossible to find out anything about these mythical cars as a 12 year old, fantastic to see this vid now :-)

Gonna fire up one of them now, but which?

All of them are appealing, probably GT1 and 3 the most.

Can't remember GT4 but GT3 seemed more realistic that 2 and had better graphics.

At the 54:30 mark in the video, there's a horrible accident. Does anyone know if the driver survived, please? I really hope so.

http://www.classicscars.com/wspr/results/jgtc/jgtc1996.html

Using this as a guide.

Only three of the non-classified cars are either part of an accident or no description.

Two with the accident next to them were the McLaren/Porsche crash at the start which leaves the other.

Tetsuya Oota (Ota) was involved in this horrid crash two years later in JGTC

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwCfaNRS-JQ

And there's no info on the other driver, Kaoru Iida so I assume they survived.
