As a car for driving the 512TR is apparently leagues ahead.
Without a doubt I bet it will be, the 512TR's look better in black IMO

Me too.

I'm at the Ferrari Museum today so will let you know my final choice once I have finished.
Most ,if not all the cars there will break the 140K budget ,by a significant amount.

As for a choice for me in this budget ,Roman's have a particularly nice Gallardo Superleggera Tecnica Edizione for 145K in Arancia.

Except it's an E gear.....frown

The 430 interior is ageing very badly indeed. And that gearstick arrangement looks like it came out of a Kinder egg rofl

Agree with all other posters though, 355 is the way to go cloud9

Honestly, I would take a 2012 V12 Aston Martin Vantage, for £55k less.

Or for less still a V10 R8 manual.

The 430 manual is to my eyes a £70k car, speculators (and in this case low mileage) have pushed its price into the stratosphere.

Both great cars but got to go older for a raw manual. No power steering either☺

For me that was the peak of Ferrari design. As Steve Jobs said "Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works." Nothing OTT about an F355.

That's a 348? Never could tell the difference at the front end. Don't recall there being any real difference other than minor grille changes.

Just the whole front end, back end and sides.

Porsche GT3's especially in 996 format beginning to look like exceptional value! Perhaps not the same flare, but tough as old boots when it comes to running them.

I just don't think the F430 is an attractive car. Looking at those pictures, I'd have guessed it was an MR2 replica - it just looks a bit wrong to my eyes.

They are also not amazing cars; exaggerated by the 458 which moved the game on significantly. For me, the obsession with manuals is getting a bit much; now ANYTHING with a manual gearbox is a true driver's car.
Quote of the thread IMHO. There is alot more to a car than just a 'box. But OTOH people love following individuals believe they are are idols themselves...

Don't like either if I'm honest!

I'd rather have a 355 or 360cthe placement of the manual in the 430 looks a massive after thought

But tbh I love the manual box in a gallardo so I'd rather have that

458 for me.

It being the last NA has more significance to me than the 430 being the last manual.
