Just seen this link! YES! It looks much better in these shots https://www.goodwood.com/grrc/event-coverage/goodw...
I was worried initially it looked a bit like a Ginetta, but in better lighting it its pretty damn cool. Still needs a nice set of concave multispoke wheels in silver or gunmetal!

Ah...not as nice as I had hoped. That's a shame.
I was just sitting here chastising myself for feeling exactly the same way as you. This shot in particularly unflattering IMHO...
Hopefully the looks will gel as more images come out and there's an opportunity to see it in the flesh too.
Despite the above, it's still fantastic to see a new TVR model!
I imagine by this weekend the launch edition will be sold out.
Hmmmm... Need to see more pics and also see it in the flesh to really understand if it's a looker or not, however, given the power on tap and the fact it's clearly going to have some outrageous aero ability, it could be absolutely fantastic to drive. Let's hope they've done the business and it justifies the hype!
It looks awesome and silly at the same time. That sounds like a TVR to me
It's got Ferrari California/Jaguar F-Type going on from the from, a full-on touring car rear diffuser and spoiler at the back. I don't really have a clue what's going on with the alloys. The interior looks pretty cool, IMO.
All looks about right to me.

Definitely got the 'hand-built from the parts bin look', but isn't that a homage to TVR's early years?
Even Edgar's quote from the Goodwood launch this morning has a nicely Wheelerish sound to it. “Although our show car can’t be driven at the Revival, given the historic nature of the event, the show car is a fully drivable, fully finished car designed to be robustly test driven straight after the wraps come off,” he said.
Has this car got Chromaflair paint? It looks a different colour in the pics below, and different again on Autocar's story. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motor-shows-goo...

The pure side-view looks pretty good there (and very much more "TVR"); the back I'm undecided on; the front looks bland. https://www.goodwood.com/grrc/event-coverage/goodw...

TVRs should say "I might kill you to the backdrop soundtrack the devil's heartbeat", not "I don't know if I want to go...."
