It has come time to add Adblue to my Citroen C4 Picasso Grand, but on looking under the offside 3rd row, where the manual and the net says I should find a screw cap under a hole in the lining is...... nothing!
Just a plastic surface of what I presume is the Adblue tank! Those dozy French workers have forgotten to put a cap on. Gods alone know how it was filled on the production line.
I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow but in the meantime, any suggestions?
I have only 200 miles before I can't start it,and it's not helped that the dealer is a 100 mile round trip.

I think you must be a bit dazed and confused on the subject.
Oh wait...

On another note, Glad the OP found the answer from the dealer. What a stupid situation where the handbook is wrong!
Anyway, glad you got it sorted OP.
Gotta love the French.

Why? It's space efficient and neat. At least unplugging a bag and clipping in a new one (if they have the right valves/connectors) is easier than using a funnel and risking spillage?
Having to go under the car and mess about with clips every 4 or 5K? No chance.
It's not unknown to leak either and create nice toxic puddles on your driveway/garage floor.
Been there done that got the stains on my drive
It's red by the way
£180 to replace a plastic bag of the blo... stuff

Reminds me of a situation I spent HOURS trying to find the oil filter location of my old Fiat Coupe 20 VT.
In your case the filter probably didn't exist. Nor the car.Sad little individual.
A good result then albeit a bit of a hollow one. In a toss up between a 100 mile round trip and using a bit more initiative a actually searching properly I would've chosen the latter. The cap looks the same as in the manual and it was still in the general vacininity after all. Poor form by Citroen though!

How often do you have to top up with Adblue?
Being a VAG mine just emits rose scented fresh air from the exhaust when it's being tested so I don't have nay of these issues
Depends on the car and engine.Being a VAG mine just emits rose scented fresh air from the exhaust when it's being tested so I don't have nay of these issues
New Vauxhalls can have it as little as every 2.5K
One of our vehicles even has an AdBlue dipstick on its tank which is an exercise in futility because it's a completely clear liquid.

Turns out the Tiguan tells you how much to top up by when you start the engine - I had hoped to get away with a 1.5 litre bottle but turns out it was asking for a refill between 1.5 and 2 gallons.
Popped into Toddington Services last night and into the HGV fuelling zone, where there are adblue pumps which connect directly to the car’s filling point.
Stood there like a lemon for a while until I was informed HGV pumps are prepay/card in advance arrangement, so left £20 with the chap and refilled 8.99 litres for about £8
That’s the cost over 4,900 miles. Now adblue range is 5,500mi

In our previous model Tiguan, once the warning is on it doesn't register being refilled unless you put at least 5 litres in. I think that's pretty standard with AdBlue systems.essayer said:

Did it fill very slowly? Apparently they're hi-flow but something in trucks' filler necks triggers that. I've read they're iffy on cars. It also needs to be very clean.Sheepshanks said:

Confused the guy at Halfords Autocenter the first time I took it in when he tried adding a couple of litres and the warning light didn't go off...

This system is being introduced to the car side of the forecourt in the near future.

The reason they fill slowly is that there isn't a breather like there is on a fuel filler.
If you use the 20 litre tubs with the plastic filler neck it's easier as it doesn't seal around the filler.
I've got the proper VAG filler hose with an internal breather tube and that's incredibly slow filling from 5 or 10 litre containers. I think the main point of it is it stops overfilling, but it would be a lot easier to just chuck 5 litres in now and again using a funnel. If you use the 20 litre tubs with the plastic filler neck it's easier as it doesn't seal around the filler.
