Big shout to Ian @ Torque RVT

He insisted I take delivery of his reflex charcoal T350T before the weekend was out so I could get to enjoy it. So much so we did an all nighter to make sure everything was in perfect running order. I got to know T350s a lot more that night.

So I'm now:
-part of the TVR gang and,
-been baptised at Ian's midnight run club biggrin

I want to thank everyone for all the advice on this forum.

Thanks guys!

Looking forward to reading of your experiences.

I just love the shape of the T350 but they seem to have risen in value of late and are now out of my reach.

Just to echo the great service you get from RVT Torque - I bought my Chimaera a year ago from another specialist but used RVT as they were closer for this year's service. It was a great experience in how garages can go over and above the call of duty to provide good customer service and I'll always now recommend them. I hope Ian has now taken on another person as he seemed so busy earlier this year!

Lovely......

I saw the couple who have the same colour with the 4.3 on Sunday and it really does change in the sunlight. Someone with me thought it was black from where we were standing, then as we got closer he said Oh wow. smile

Another t350c owner was also there and kindly gave a full tour of his car explaining all the buttons, how to fill up and going through the dash configuration options, there's a lot more information on there than I was expecting.
Considering you bought yours after me and are now driving it hasn't helped contain my eagerness biggrin Have been told now Friday is the day.bounce

Filling up spills are a feature. You'll think you've found a technique and speed then it will burp back . I keep a rag in a bag ready for catching /mopping , bag gets tied off after filling to avoid that petrol smell becoming your new deodorant.

What you need is a saggy filler (albeit not really a small job);

Wow that looks awesome. As you say through. Heard it's quite pricey to get done.

Hi GouramiX, Just wondering how you're getting on.?

Not sure if I ever established what part the country you are in,but I've got not far off a foot of snow here and not used mine since 19th Nov and the Chimaera has not moved for ages. Curious as I was just thinking you were going to try using as an everyday car.

How's things? Hope all is well.... thumbup

Hi mate. All good here. I’m based around Manchester. Snow fell only recently over the past few days. Up until that point
I was using it daily. When I saw the snow I bottled it. I’ve had the odd dicey moment in the rain so any snow for me - forget it. It’s just not worth the risk.

How about you?

wavey Oh right, so you've got something else to use then,if you don't have to use it then it has to be the best decision to not tempt fate.

Nothing really to report this end because as said frustratingly I've not used it for 3 weeks and I've been ill for about 10 days (Sick, cough, sneezing and feeling weak) or putting it another way I've got/had Man flu biggrin

I did start it up on Sunday and got a few warning codes (5 & 6) which I think 5 is frost warning and 6 is saying water temp 210 confused Press both buttons on the wheel and all buzz sounds stop and all looks normal, although oil temp was -3. I didn't leave it running long as this seem's to be not the done thing (Although the specialists do) but I've not sorted out my ctec charger yet as I need to fit a relay. It was nice that after 3 weeks it started up full of life although when I bought the car I asked for a new battery to be fitted as part the deal.

Also bought a chrome tvr badge (ebay) for the rear which has purple lines which I think will go well with my colour car. As soon as all this bad weather clears I'm going for a long drive, destination will be where ever it takes me smile

Hi GouramiX, based around Manchester? or live there?. I live not far from traffic centre- will keep a lookout for you; I was at RVT earlier this year- I think your car was there-else it was another 350 in reflex.
