It's just such a crap looking car - what a waste. The small size will help in the flesh, but it's just such a bland shape with really dreadful detailing.

Not only does the car look like crap, but making an article on top of the PH page sums up how much vacuous hype is being put into this.

We have a miserable video showing two guys swearing for a few seconds - Is this what you call journalism?

PH's origins have nothing to do with anything. Once upon a time this was a TVR forum - but it stopped being that a very long time ago.

Pandering is pandering. And blinkered tolerance of a rather stty looking car just highlights how much people are willing to ignore when they are blinded by loyalty.

It's not a bad thing. I just think some are more blunt about it than others. And lets not forget, one man's meat is another man's poison, so each to their own.

Loving the comments about this being an "analogue" car. Ha ha. Yeah right. I don't recall old TVRs having EPAS, traction control, anti-lock brakes...

IF TVR can do this for £90k what are Lotus playing at where that old Evora is £110k ?

Some thing don't add up in Lotus land. TVR have sold more than Lotus have all year.
IM guessing you have a deposit down now and given up chasing after the latest GT3? You could even chop the GT4 in for a tiv

although the tick over sounded more cement mixer, hopefully dodgy acoustics.
Before Les switched off the engine I thought there was some noisy KTM style bike behind the camera. I really hope it's just bad acoustics, the car sounded great in the Goodwood launch video

Have you seen the car in the flesh? I always reserve judgement until I have. A british manufacturer produces its first car for over 10 years, of which was the sole reason PH formed ends up as a lead article..... Yes it does have something to do with it, get over yourself!

I presume this is a joke.

Oh, it's you, so I doubt it is.

We don't know how this car goes yet, but based on exterior and interior the Lotus is miles and miles and miles ahead.

In your opinion..

Based on the above the TVR is the one miles ahead imo.

I personally don't really care what it looks like. Its lightweight and has a big, loud, scary engine. Its going to feel raw and exciting in an increasingly boring world.

It just has to handle a lot better than the last cars, which I'm sure it will.

It does not have anything to do with how the car looks, it is all about the lack of content.

Otherwise, how about posting a vid when they replaced the wheels?
Or when they filled up the tank?
Or when whoever washed their hands after replacing the wheels?

If PH pretend to boast about being a leading TVR community then they better bring proper content... unless TVR have become another bland, dull and hype-driven modern brand?

Why is it just a 15 second clip of them driving onto the forecourt and not a out on the road sort of thing or is it not road registered?

No doubt it will sound better in the flesh...sounded a bit like a helicopter in the clip; but enough to feed the imagination

Ha ha - get over my personal opinion?? You must be new to this 'forum' game.

ETA - yes I have. The rear end isn't terrible (and I stand by the Supra in a Veilside kit comments I have made), but the profile is uninspiring and the front end is a clusterfk.

I am starting to quite like the shape - it's actually quite distinctive. Wheels are much better.

On the vid the exhaust sounds like a Harley so I wonder how it sounds inside the car.

It's OK, you're amongst friends: you can tell us - did an Evora fk your wife or something?

Looks better than the photos especially on those wheels, although the front reminds me of that smart roadster parked there
