bluetooth microphone

Hands free works great with Galaxy 8. Audio is great. Microphone is crap. Is this normal? Have to turn off bluetooth to carry on conversation

The microphone in the early cars wasn't good - they repositioned it (and possibly upgraded it too) and now its pretty good.

Sorry if that's not much help, but at least it confirms what you are saying.

Thanks for the response. Have extended warranty but used Friday for 2 new door struts. Maybe wait a month and get update from dealer? 08 Vantage V8

08 cars should have the repositioned mic I would think....but may not.

Why wait for a claim? Just submit one and see how you go. These were being done FoC as I recall.

Mine was the MY 2010 and it needed the replacement microphone under warranty.

I dare say the OPs will need replacing too.

I guess I'll wait till January. Closest dealer is 224 miles away and just there Friday replacing door struts, 2 open recalls, and 20k checkup. Figure I'll have to go down in Jan-Feb for 30k. Thank you for the help. Only had AM since August

08 AM Vantage V8. See the opening behind the mirror for mic. Do you think a Auto Stereo Center could replace. I'd rather pay than have to drive to Greensboro NC just to get it free. 4.5 hours each way. Thanks Frank
