I had a MK2 2001 XC70 a couple of years ago 2.4T. Probably one of the best cars I've owned. Had a V70R afterwards which was good, but not as good. Currently look at a late MK2, 2007 D5.

The MK2s certainly looks brilliant! Seems these cars have a huge following in US/Canada/Continental Europe.

Anyway, more dirty car pics please. Can't believe this thread is so short frown

That Aygo is superbly manking!!!!

C1 great too but may not count if it's not a current pic!

I too am a fan of XC70/ V70 XC.

I drove a 2001ish early model - 'Ocean' edition? Was it Ocean? Some kind of edition and it was lovely. Wafty.

Was it dirty before you picked it up or is that just a day's worth of dirt?!
That was in just a day.

I picked it up that morning, nipped into work and set off to see clients. All the clients that I saw on that day were in the Peak District.

The Peak District, especially the Southern area's roads, are always covered in mud. Great fun. (as my XC70 photo proves)

That was it. I remember it had quite a lot of blanking switches so it perhaps wasn't a high spec model but i just loved it!

Took this on the way to work this morning, as having not washed it in weeks, I thought it would be a decent attempt...turns out I was wrong;

Despite multiple trips up and down the M40, and a lot of commuting it still looks rather clean in a picture. Looks far worse in real life, although it is making me wonder how filthy some of the really dirty ones in this thread actually are!

From a little snow flurry in Middlesbrough last week while I was working nights, the 20 minute drive back to the hotel at 1am felt like this:

Thank God I'd just had winter tyres fitted 3 days before.

With a power to weight ratio of 370bhp/tonne and 270lb/ft of torque, it's not really usable in this winter weather ... This picture was taken a few months back, and it's now dirtier still! hehe

(I really should clean it).
