out walking locally today. There is a good 3 to 4 feet available in front on the BMW, but they always park like this. I don't know whether they justify it to themselves because of the hedge on the next property or what... dick move regardless.

Perhaps there's a up and over garage door they need access to in front over the Beemer?

Or the parking sensors are too sensitive?

or just, because BMW driver?....

Is it their hedge that is also blocking half the pavement, overhanging hedges etc really annoy me.

Able bodied people that are first in line or walking down the street at a minor collision that just stand and stare. COME. ON.

The lady is on the floor with a bike on top of her, help her up. It's not hard or difficult is it. Nah, you're just gonna sit there in your car like a lemon watching and then start beeping because you're an impatient selfish sod.

I was about 4 or 5 cars back but after about a minute of nobody closer moving I got out to help, lifted the bike off her, moved it to the side of the road, collected the pieces and put them by the bike and gave her some water. Checked she was ok before going to move my car out the road.

Bus driver is now shouting at me out his window for blocking the road with my car. OH IM SORRY THAT MY CAR IS NOW IN THE WAY BECASE I HELPED HER MR BUS DRIVER. fk YOU.

2 older ladies stopped to see if she was ok but couldn't do anything because they're old. I was the only young person male or female who actually bothered to help. Idiots.
Similar thing happened to me in Hampstead a few years ago. I believe a car had driven / reversed out of a drive and knocked a motorcyclist off or at least forced him to bail. He was struggling to lift his bike and a queue had formed in both directions. I was about 4th o4 5th car back and went to help.
Cars started to move away and some idiot in a JWG Jag overtook my parked car and nearly hit me walking down the road to the car.

I was livid. And of course, as no-one else was as idiotic I was then following him. At the first set of lights I gave him both barrels while he stared straight ahead. Makes my blood boil just thinking about it.

Aha, the penny drops, ref: the Audi discussion above idea

I've had some new neighbours move in a few weeks ago. Not had a chance to chat to them yet, but I was impressed (although very puzzled) that they have a 5 litre A5 Diesel.

I say puzzled as it looked like a bog standard Audi, high-profile tyres, standard exhaust, no fancy kit, etc, etc.

Next time I walk past I'll look more carefully biggrin

Just goes to prove that I have absolutely no interest in Audi as a brand, whatsoever!
I was at Audi (for work) recently and saw all these and couldnt believe they where sticking such big engines in cars...Until now when i have looked up the new meanings...Cant say i am a fan. If i where fool enough to buy an Audi i would be ripping that straight off.

What really boils my piss is people that cannot wait 5 minutes for the slow traffic to move enough for them to take the next exit on the Autobahn. Sure clip the last 20 metres or so if its stationary but hauling arse down the hard shoulder for 5 or so KM because 30kmh in HEAVY traffic isnt fast enough for you is just out of order. So much so i have started to pull half onto the lane (leaving enough room in front to pull back in if emergency vehicles require) to stop the s.

Check where the drivers door is next time. People down my road do this and they normally park where it's most convenient to get in and out of the car with no regard for how much it sticks out.

i have to say, there is no actual obvious reason on their driveway as to why they've parked like that. There is 4 feet in front with some wooden doors that look like they never open (no garage), and then just path on the right by the driver's door. They could easily just go forward enough.

It's next door's hedge, and yes it is quite annoying. it needs taking right back about 18 inches or more, regardless of how thick it is in the overhang!

The Golf is also theirs and regularly is parked too far over the pavement etc.

so the aforementioned diesel A5 still was a bit powerful (being a 50) i though all the TDI's were max 200bhp!

still stupid confusing numbering system

which one of their cars would have over 529bhp but then wouldn't be a S or RS?

On the A5 50 TDi, it probably isn't a 2.0TDi

S and RS models retain current branding and will not use the new number system.

yes that was my point. What non-S non-RS have enough firepower to be called a 70

This has got to be getting people ready for the electric world where model number just dictates how much battery / power it has, like Tesla do?
