One single thing that makes you think "knob" Vol 4
Discussion
Maybe already mentioned but, all the fking idiot "drivers" who think its acceptable to drive their cars with snow still piled up on the roof ( so once up to speed it blows off onto the vehicle behind them) or extra wker points for the tts who still have snow piled on their bonnets so at speed, it blows up onto the screen blocking their own vision.
Utter fkwits!

Absolutely this. I believe the 40 mph everywhere brigade are a bit mental. I came up behind such a f*ckwit some years back doing between 35 and 40 on a clear NSL road. It was early in the morning so not much traffic on the road, so indicated, over took and carried on my way
some miles further on I entered a 30 zone going through a village, and had slowed to the posted limit, when up comes f*ckwit at what must have been around 80 mph to get past me, and who then proceeded to drive through the village at the same speed. What in heavens name goes on between the ears of these f*ckwit types?.
Last few days, thanks to a dusting of snow, they've become the 20mph everywhere brigade...! Then get followed by a dozen sheep-like drivers, driving so close as to not allow anyone to overtake car by car.some miles further on I entered a 30 zone going through a village, and had slowed to the posted limit, when up comes f*ckwit at what must have been around 80 mph to get past me, and who then proceeded to drive through the village at the same speed. Christ, the wrath cyclists get for cycling at 20mph holding the world up for hours and hours....

The law
There is no road law that says it is illegal to drive with snow on your car.
However, the Highway Code stipulates that if driving in adverse weather conditions you must, by law, be able to see out of every glass panel in your vehicle.
This is supported by the section 41D of the Road Traffic Act 1988, meaning it is a legal requirement to have a clear view of the road ahead before you set off.
Failure to do so could incur a fine, but more importantly could place your life, the lives of your passengers and the lives of those around you in danger.
This also means ensuring your windscreen is de-iced on the outside and thoroughly demisted on the inside.

The c**t in the hilux in McDonalds car park Caxton Gibbet A428.
I'd reversed into a space with a pedestrian walkway to my right. He'd parked perpendicular to the walkway end, so as I sat back in the car he's at my 1 o'clock. His vehicle and the kerb are preventing me turning right, out of my space and to the exit.
I pulled forward half out of the space. No movement.
Pipped the horn. No movement.
His mate walking back to the car, mouthing something.... grunting something... perhaps thinking I was trying to reverse into the space. I don't know, his gestures made no sense. And he looked like he was being aggressive.
Pipped the horn again. No movement.
Manoeuvered around and driving past I looked up at the fat git in the driver's seat whose expression said “what the f**k do you want?"
There were three disabled bays available and they were closer to the door than he parked, he may aswell have gone in there.
Maybe he fancied a change.
Knob.

A definitive case of BHP envy.Ares said:

In the current weather conditions that makes perfect sense. This morning I was overtaken in snow and ice conditions by the usual over confident four wheel drive vehicles who think they are immune from black ice and other treacherous driving hazards.Liquid Knight said:

Then, driving into town, a girl in front in a fiesta was having to keep her wipers going in the sun, as the roof full of melting snow, was continually running off onto her windscreen, particularly approaching the numerous roundabouts.
Illegal or not- still knobs!!

Sadly as so many stranded motorists have found out we don't get enough snow on our tropical island paradise to know how to deal with it let alone legislate for it.
I've said this before many times.
If your car looks like this...
...and doesn't look like this before you hit the road...
....you're a liability and should get the bloody bus.
I even carry a small soft bush in my car (when it snows) so if I get stuck in traffic I can wipe away any snowfall before we get moving again.
Today, I nominate ACPOA.
Received a PCN for parking in the railway station car park overnight without a ticket.
Thing is, though, I never parked there. I dropped my wife off, drove to work, then drove home.
I then drove in again in the morning, dropped off my wife again, and went to work.
They've somehow "missed" two of these journeys. Thankfully I've got CCTV showing my car elsewhere.
Not that the "evidence" they'd presented would actually prove anyone had parked overnight anyway- the cameras are at the entrance to the pick-up/drop-off point rather than the main car park.

Of course if such an assertion ever came before a criminal court it would be laughed out in seconds, but the consensus seems to be that, if you're a private parking company pursuing a civil charge it's totally acceptable to charge people extortionate "breach of contract" fees unless you're lucky enough to be able to prove you weren't somewhere, rather than the claimant proving you were.
