That idiot in the free lander would have got a talking to,
Apparently Wiltshire Police aren't accepting footage... Might be able to report it as threatening though...

They should have had a bidon bouncing off their car at the very least.
Waste of a perfectly good bidon. Conveniently, the vehicle behind was an independent tradesman, so contact details have been provided as a witness Just wish he could have lent me a can of paint. As an aside, his overtake was pretty much textbook!

Anyone with cams on the front and back of their bike is clearly on a mission. Is also very clear you are too far away from the curb.
If you don’t get hit by their near side wing mirror it is a safe pass.
Its the emotional injury to his opinions on what the distance should be, that we are discussing, not the non-event of no actual physical harm. If you don’t get hit by their near side wing mirror it is a safe pass.

Bait has been laid. If you don’t get hit by their near side wing mirror it is a safe pass.
Who will bite?
Btw, I only have a rear camera

I think some hands on experience would be better. Put him on a road bike doing 32mph and I'll do a close pass at 60mph just avoiding physical contact.
Might need a bit more than a 2% downhill for that Especially given that I averaged about 30 on that stint into a town, even if cars had sat behind me all the way, they'd only have lost 1 minute. But plenty of perfectly good overtakes, and at the time the land rover went past, the offside lane was completely clear. Completely intentional, using a vehicle as a weapon, methinks.
Incidentally, the very same as the most common complaint about DCWs.

Its 2020, imagine hating cyclists. I find those who do are generally fat balding boring blokes who do little to no exercise and think driving their car is classed as a 'hobby'. Getting exercise in the sun, exploring the local area, making friends, challenging yourself physically and mentally, I really cant see how anyone dislikes cycling. But ofcourse it boils back down to being a boring angry person who hates people bettering their lives.
I am neither fat, or balding,or angry. I take exercise, but thanks for the assumptions. I dont hate all cyclists, just the tryhards. I agree about exercise in the sun, exploring making 'friends', and all that,I really do.
But jumping lights, riding two abrest, wearing lycra, holding up cars by riding in the middle of the road, pretending your in the tour de france, sneering at lads in subarus with big exhausts, because your so rightious, nope.
It is possible to go for a nice ride in jeans and a T shirt, heck I sometimes ride in crocks.

Two abreast / taking the lane makes the cyclists more visible, thus reducing risk. It also avoids "squeezing through" dangerous overtakes.

Also: Charging through a group of walkers on a country road with dogs, without a by your leave or any warning etc. One false move and someone's in the dyke. Or worse.I dont hate all cyclists, just the tryhards. I agree about exercise in the sun, exploring making 'friends', and all that,I really do.
