Reckless ove-rtaker this morning in a beaten up old P Reg MR2. Made worse by having one headlight out and both fog lights on, one of which was misaligned and equivalent to full beam bouncing off my mirrors as he approached. Roared up behind me and overtook on the dodgy A338 Ringwood to Salisbury road, I was doing 57 in a 50 and he still overtook with a car approaching from the other direction. Then overtook a car on a bend having to brake and push in at the last second, repeating the exercise 200 yards further on so squeeze into an almost non existent gap. We were all in a queue of cars driving at the speed limit or slightly above so he achieved absolutely fk all except endanger himself and others.

The one thing that really winds me up the most is idiots overtaking on fast A roads like this as it can all end up very badly. its tImes like this I wish I had dash cam tbh.
57 in a 50? Let him who is without sin....

Pillock who doesn't know how to join a motorway. I'm in L1 doing 70, I see a car coming down the slip road just a bit behind me, so all he needs to do is lift off for a second and he can merge out behind me. But no. Ends up right in my nearside blind spot, flashing and beeping. I can't move out to L2 because there's a car overtaking me slowly (not that I needed to, but would if I could), can't speed up because there's a car in front of me and can't slow down because he's there. When he eventually joined and went to overtake he was along side me and I could see from the corner of my eye he was waving his arms about, yet as soon as I turned to look at him he sped off. Wonder if he was apologising for his st driving?

Similarly I was joining a DC the other day, nicely lined up, speed matched to slot in behind a middle aged woman in one of those cheap Audis (A1 ?), only this stupid cow starts braking for no reason and i'm running out of slip lane, she was completely puzzled as to why i'd started leaning on the horn...... I think she was f**king about with her phone. frown

When you email a broker with a delivery query (etc) about a decent looking lease deal and get an immediate reply thanking you for your interest but demand is huge and they only have 3 cars left at that price so you should pay the deposit ASAP

Knob!

Stop fking gritting everything you stupid s, it's not even that cold. You can tell they overbought salt that one time it was cold years ago and now they are desperately trying to get rid of it.

Why don't you go out and actually fix some of the roads you useless, spineless, jerks? So many surfaces have deteriorated and if you can be bothered you just half arse it with that awful "surface dressing" rubbish.

tts.
Based on the text on the signs they've been attaching to lampposts around Farnborough & surrounding areas of Rushmoor, etc, you'd think they really cared about the roads and were actually fixing them laugh

Now i somehow doubt this message, because the state of the road between the back end of Farnborough Airport & Fleet (where they're currently building yet another massive housing development) is currently filled with deep potholes, massive crevices, etc, that you have to weave around to avoid damaging your car. Yet, amusingly, those signs about how much they care about the roads have been fitted all along that stretch banghead

Some guy pulls up outside my drive as I'm washing one of my cars.

"How much for the [car]?"
"It's not for sale."
"If it was for sale, what would the price be?"
"There isn't one, it's not for sale"

For fk's sake. At least open with "I'm looking for one of those, you're not willing to sell it are you?" or something. I don't even respond well to the "best price M8" approach with stuff I am selling.

Yes, I do get a few comments from people along those lines, but most ask if the cars are for sale rather than sailing in with a "how much"!

aholes that don’t think they need to drop their full beams, because it’s ‘only a bike’ coming towards them.

Exactly this happened to me last week. The slip is a give way. What part of give way don’t they get?

Unfortunately the vast majority seem to think that those already on the carriageway have to give way, judging by the way many attempt to join!

In fairness, most in lane 1 will move over to lane 2 if they observe joiners on the slip road. Many drivers will see this move as standard procedure, hence a poor joining manoevre. Of course it is not always possible to move to lane 2 and then sadly it becomes a free for all.

See also, people who think an indicator gives them priority.

Not much damage to the car but I’m currently sat in A&E with very bad pain stemming from my right wrist.

Fun times.
Arrested / charged / drove away? PH needs to know.hehe

I'd like to think Ashleyman hit him, that's why he's in A&E with a wrist injury...
