The 133 and the ignis sport both look nothing like the non sport models.
Bit of blurb on the 133

Never seen that thanks.

Calipers are laguna and discs are the same as 172. You can still fit them over 15" alloys as I run speedline turbines. I have stripped out over 150kg out of mine and I still got a fair bit to go. They can sound quite nice also!

Love these Warm/Junior Hatches, so much fun to drive and cheap to run!

Used to love my old Mk5 Fiesta ZS, such a cracking chassis and with more than enough power to have fun and oh that 'box, such a delight to use.

My mate had a brand new Sport KA in Imperial Blue at around 2007 i believe and he used to take me to work and back via to local B-Roads and every so often he'd drive it enthusiastically and as a 17 year old it felt like a rocket ship! it actually led me to buying my 'first' Warm Hatch that ZS Fiesta smile ahh the memories.

It's good that current crop of Hatches all have a Warm/Junior Hatche variant in the line up aswell, Vauxhall with the Corsa SRi in 100bhp and 150bhp guise, Polo R-Line/GT 208 GT-Line and so on and so forth, It's just for some reason they don't ever get mentioned.

I'm a big believer in this; I love my Fabia Monte Carlo as despite being one of the more "boring" warm hatches it is a very good steer; despite only being the 1.5 101bhp model and an auto our Swift is a little treat to drive. My friend has a 125 Ecoboost Fiesta and that's marvellous too - I love nippy little cars.

+ 1 (or 2,3,4,5 whatever) on the Twingo, it always does seem to get missed on these lists even though its highly regarded in the press etc. I've had mine nearly five years now, its great little car.

I disagree. I get the impression that these ST-line, R-line, etc. are a bit of a half-arsed attempt if fun with a dash of performance is what you're after. Just a standard car with a bit more poke (sometimes) and I imagine I would just wish I'd bought the proper hot version. Whereas the Swift and Ignis Sport, Twingo RS and your very lovely looking Fiesta are developed as the top of the range 'sporty' models and I think you can tell. Even if they aren't very fast.

I appreciate that may be bks as I've never driven a ST-line or other variant.

I think the Twingo is overshadowed by the Clio 182, hence why it's maybe not mentioned as much. The Swift seems to get plenty of coverage and the Twingo was evidently a similar car/close competitor

Sometimes the cheap simple cars make for the most fun. What a car collection though

Ford Puma 1.7. 125 Bhp and about 1100 kg with a passenger and a full tank. Good ones are still below £1500 and point to point on a B road, there's very little this side of and Elise that can keep up. Best front drive chassis ever.
Forgot about the Puma. Think Tiff Needell had a Racing Puma and a standard one, fantastic cars.
Yep.

Think SOTW have been reading this!
