I'm looking at the SQ5 as the family replacement for a M135i 5 door.

Base car and some spec is coming around £58k list, does anyone have experience of discount ?

Car wow say 6% max, broadspeed is around 7% depending on spec.

After having a look at these in the flesh, the interior is dated IMO compared to its rivals. The new X3 seems a nicer place to be and the M40i is on par price wise with the SQ5.

Discounts were between 8-10%

You looked at the new one correct?
The petrol version not diesel
The one with the best SUV interior?

Haha, must admit, the new SQ5 interior looks bloody lovely, with the exception of the default stuck on screen.

The virtual cockpit is an option the standard dials don't look great, however the VC is nice. The stick on screen is not in keeping with the interior, the air vents are similar to what I had on my 2007 A4.

I think it's a better looking car on the outside and would say it nudges it ahead of the X3. The X3 has massive kidney grilles like two large nostrils, out of proportion.

Seriously? It's standard on a lot of VWs now once you get above the base trims.

Don’t quote me on this, but I think it’s standard on RS5 and up. It’s a £250 option on the S5 and £450 on the S3 for instance.

People have complained that the VW system lacks configurability, but at least they’re giving it you for nothing in most cases.

RS3 maybe on the S3 it is part of the tech pack at £1400 (I have one on order)
