You can even walk in and buy a Club Sport at £89k or DTM Champions Edition (200 total production worldwide) for £115k.
So once the 200 are sold, what does someone who wants one of them do?http://www.evo.co.uk/bmw/m4/20559/bmw-m4-competiti...
I don’t find it a problem. There is more hype about the Porsche, but I find the M4CP a better drive overall than any 4 cyl Boxster or Cayman. If they discontinue the engine, too bad. Porsche discontinued successively their air cooled and their NA engines. All the more reason to have one I would have thought. The BMW straight six is one of the best petrol engines there is. I think that it is one to have, and i have been right in the past.

OK, Rawrr, I would really like a new 996GT3RS. Or a new 996 C4S, must be new mind, and it has to have the Powerkit engine, and sports seats, in Zenith Blue with black leather. The words 'too bad' come to mind. It's a problem, but it's not the same problem as the Porsche business model which is based solely on the power of the badge.

Money to be made in buying and selling sneakers trust me. I have software on my PC that auto adds the shoes to my cart and checks out. You can easily make profit flipping them. No different to the Porsches ironically!
You can't buy a GT Porsche using PC software unless you can hack into the production schedule. Rawwr said:
Ok, so the Porsche is more in demand. Now back to the question: Once the 200 are sold, what does someone who wants one of them do?
Perhaps, what he’s trying to say is, when the 200 were in production and say, BMW had 50 left to build, you and I could go to our local dealer and buy one. Where as if I went to any OPC now and said, I’d like to place a deposit on the next GT Porsche being released, they’d laugh me out!GroundEffect said:

What does a 911 Turbo S cost to build, again I'm guessing but I would say 25k max.
Including the amortised & depreciated costs? A huge amount more than £25k. You go design & build a new high output engine, 4WD, 4WS system and try to make money back across just a few thousand units.
For reference, a prototype standard car can cost >$250k due to economy of scale issues & amortised F&T across low volumes.
