I need to send 2 tyres from St Athan to Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. Anyone know of a 'man with a van' or can suggest a cost effective courier please?

You could try https://www.anyvan.com/ but not sure they will be that great for you... I've used them for collecting large and bulky items (ebay purchases) and they have worked out brilliantly - although you are in the hands of the driver as to when he picks up and drops off as they tend to tie their journeys and routes in together to make it profitable for them.

I've had a three piece suite picked up from Warrington and a painting picked up from Derby along with another painting picked up from North London all delivered to Rhoose by the same guy on one journey for £63...

I have previously useda broker called Paisley Freight: https://www.paisleyfreight.com/alloy-wheel-courier

Haven't used them for a year or two but the majority of the time it was TNT who came and collected the parcel.

HTH.

You could try https://www.dilivi.com/ they provide service in UK not sure about other countries …. I've used them for collecting sofa set and some other electric items (ebay purchases) and they have worked out brilliantly for me - As they offer shared van service to cut down the price of move for their customers.
